I'd like to know who they poll to get this list. Some of these moments are pure WTF but some of them were absolute crap.

There are always going to be some duds in lists like this but overall it looks quite good. I like countdowns like this so it would interest me. Hopefully they announce the host of the DVD soon.

I am glad they included the Bishoff unveailed as Raw GM one, and like that they have gone for some obscure ones like the Maddog losing his leg incident, because many fans won't remember it, and it was a moment which really added to the match. On the other hand, there is too much crap on there, and stuff which shouldn't be on the list and which many fans will not care about. Also I don't see this as being a good idea for a DVD.

I'm actually shocked they didn't include Matt Hardy's 2005 return to the list. That was shocking as hell. As far as possible hosts.....why not Mick Foley?

Nice idea with Foley, that'd be really interesting I think.

Anyone else have any ideas for a host? What about Vince himself? Or D-X as a host? Michaels and Trips together?

So just more thoroughly read this list. WWE buys WCW #12 really...really. What the fuck that was the most shocking moment in the industry.

Vince or Foley as host would work for me, maybe Mick out of the two as he would bring more humour and add a bit of novity factor.

Foley as host would be good. He is now available and has done a good job before as a DVD host. I hope they don't end up going with someone like a Todd Grisham or Josh Matthews to host it. Continue the theme of getting former wrestlers to host the DVD's, preferably one with a link to the DVD and Foley has that since he is involved in a few of these events including the number one spot.

If you think about it, WWE buying WCW was not shocking enough to be #1, as it was a big possibility to say the least. Not surprising enough to be #1. Don't get me wrong - this is possibly the biggest moment in wrestling history. If WWE intended this DVD to be based on the importance of the moments, then this one should indeed be #1.

By that Logic Foley being thrown off the hell in the cell shouldn't be number 1 either. How is it shocking to see a wrestler take a bump. Lesnar BigShow breaking the ring while it would have been a shock had it not so obviously been staged shouldn't be on the list. Importance of the Shock impacts the overall shock itself.

WWF buying WCW has to be up there for me, I mean no matter how bad things got, I don't think many people ever saw that happening, also there seemed to be a deal on the cards for Bishoff to buy the company, and that fell through and Vince stepped in almost at the last minute. The fact that WCW no longer excist, is still something I cannot believe even ten years on.

Foley being thrown off the Hell in a Cell is the perfect #1 spot because up to that point no fan expected this to be physically possible without severe injury. The bottom line - no fan expected this to happen in reality.
