WWE Moving Elimination Chamber

- As noted, WWE Fast Lane will be replacing the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February of next year. As of now, the plan is for Elimination Chamber to take place in June, replacing Payback, which is being moved to May.

As noted, WWE is planning to drop the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February and F4Wonline.com has confirmed that WWE is looking at using the new name of WWE Fast Lane.

The 2015 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view was penciled in for February 22nd, 2015 in Memphis, Tennessee on WWE's internal calendar so that could be the Fast Lane date and venue. F4Wonline.com adds that the Chamber pay-per-view may be held in June instead.

PWInsider confirms that WWE is still looking at holding the Chamber match on its own. The idea is that they won't use the match during WrestleMania season but later in the year, possibly as a way to build to a title shot at SummerSlam.

I'm fine with EC sticking around because at times it felt kinda awkward being sandwiched where it is, but jesus christ Fast Lane is fucking horrible. I can just hear it now.."We're on the Fast Lane to WrestleMania 31!!!"

I actually quite liked where EC was because it really stacked the RTWM. It really helped out when they had two belts and they used the Chamber to decide the number one contender for the belt that the Rumble winner wasn't challenging for while the other chamber was for the title.

Hope this means they are starting to phase out gimmick PPVs. I doubt it, but I got my fingers crossed on that one.

Yeah have got used to the EC being around and think it is good PPV on the road to Mania. And yes Fast Lane may just be the worse event name in history..

I think the PPV between the Rumble and 'Mania will be Fast Lane regardless if EC moves or not.
