WWE May Not Sign Toni and Piper Niven

It looks like WWE will not be signing Toni Storm and Piper Niven, who both worked The Mae Young Classic, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. WWE officials told both competitors that they would be in touch after the finals of the tournament but it's believed that neither talent has been contacted. On a related note, Candice LeRae has not been signed either. LeRae, who is married to Johnny Gargano, appeared in the recent WWE NXT TV battle royal but she's just doing enhancement work.

Storm made it to the semi-finals of the tournament, losing to winner Kairi Sane. Niven lost to Storm the round before that and Candice made it to that same round, losing to runner-up Shayna Baszler.

Not signing the best and most charismatic woman -Toni- but signing Kairi who knows no English and always saying "sports entertainment". How can I get entertained when someone can not cut a promo?

Reading way too much into it. They have more than enough girls right now in NXT who are good enough so let them get used and promoted, then you can bring Toni straight into a title feud like they do with the Indy guys since she's a notable name.

She's like 22 years old, what's the huge rush? You want them to sign her and have her doing the NXT house show loop because they already have a bunch of girls they're putting time into?

I like Toni Storm and I want to rage over them passing on her if they are indeed doing that, but Kairi Sane is lights out and beyond. She's one of the best ladies they have right now and I wouldn't trade her out. We can have both.

I feel like they aren't even factoring in that Toni probably has a ton of dates committed right now and I doubt WWE wants to wait. I'm sure in a year they'll call her to clear her schedule and they'll bring her in to NXT or even WWE.

Toni is working places like Progress and Stardom and a few others so she's busy as hell so yeah the patience to wait on her isn't going to happen. Toni's age is plus she is so good so early, she'll be getting that knock at the Door again no doubt in my mind. I remember a year ago and I watched Toni vs Toni now and she has taken her career to a new level. If you see old pics of her she looks a totally different person and Wrestler with the confidence she's gained. As for Viper because that is what I call her from her days in Stardom, she is coming back to Stardom in January so it's like the same situation with Toni involving dates with other companies. To me Viper is easily the best big girl Wrestler in the business today and Nia Jax should be taking pointers.

She'll get signed down the line.. There's no reason to offer her a contract right now. I honestly have no idea why they decided to go with Kairi Sane, but that's what they did.. There's probably half a dozen better options in the MYC.

Clearly you haven't seen any of her work outside a few Matches in MYC. Should take the time to watch her career in Stardom so you can logically gauge how good she really is.
