Hopefully this means the era of hoarding and ruining independent stars is over forever
Doubt it. I think over-hoarding's over in that they won't have like 500 guys under contract, but they'll still sign guys specially for getting over on the scene.

Makes sense. You pay young wrestler barely anything and in return you rake in more money since they are struggling for money.

No matter who they get, they are still going to ruin people, anyway. They mostly ride with the 'safe' ones who get the title shots and all that shit. Would not surprise me that they pass on a great wrestler just because he is too small for their liking.

Thought about it earlier but they have lost so many actual big guys over the last few years, decided to go take a quick skim of the WWE roster on their page.

Big Show & Henry were essentially let go
Taker and Kane, not sure what their official standing is but they're all but retired I assume
Braun just got released but could come back money depending you would think
Lars looked like he was next but well he bombed.

Active 'big' guys they have
Damian Priest who I like but he's 38.
Walter, 33 but doesn't want to commit to living in USA so the story goes
Omos, 27 but is still as new as they get.
T-BAR, 34
Mace, 30
