Breaking the Count
By Katie A. Raymond-Santo
As the Chicago Blackhawks look to drink from the Stanley Cup, WWE.com sits down with Brent Seabrook, Patrick Sharp and Colin Fraser for Breaking the Count.
WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE SUPERSTAR GROWING UP?
Brent "Cold Shoulder" Seabrook: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Patrick "Tricky Finger" Sharp: Chris Jericho
Colin "Ronnie McD" Fraser: The Rock
WHAT'S YOUR BEST MEMORY OF WWE?
Seabrook: Watching "Stone Cold" Steve Austin crush beers in the ring.
Sharp: Watching WWE on Saturday afternoons and wrestling with my brothers.
Fraser: Mankind vs. The Undertaker in Hell in a Cell when Mankind got chokeslammed through the top of the cage.
WHAT WOULD THE NAME OF YOUR SIGNATURE MOVE BE?
Seabrook: "The Cold Shoulder"
Sharp: I would use the Sharpshooter,†but it has already been taken - so I will go with "The Rib Poke"
Fraser: "The Big Mak"
WHICH SUPERSTAR OR DIVA, PAST OR PRESENT, WOULD YOU LIKE TO ESCORT YOU TO THE RING?
Seabrook: Stacy Kiebler
Sharp: Torrie Wilson
Fraser: Sable
HOW IS YOUR SPORT LIKE WWE?
Seabrook: The physical aspect is a lot alike but different at the same time. They are more high-flying where we are more straight-forward. Also, we have to worry about the boards, pucks, sticks and skates while WWE stars have to worry about tables, ladders and chairs.
Sharp: Both have to be good athletes. We also both have to take care of ourselves physically to prevent injuries.
Fraser: Both are physically fit athletes and have to take care of themselves. Both work hard in the ring or on the ice and in the gym. We get an off-season in the summer, while WWE Superstars work 12 months a year.
This probably has no significance to anything, but GO HAWKS.
