Sheik Abdul Bashir’s TNA contract is set to expire sometime before the end of the summer, and WWE sources indicate that the company does have some interest in bringing the former Daivari back onto the roster.

We’ll have more on this story as it comes in, but as of right now it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see if he re-signs with TNA or not.

As much as I hate to say it, TNA needs Sheik Abdul Bashir right now. Sure, he isn't that exciting in the ring, but he's a solid X-Division heel and with the division lacking some depth right now, he is definitely helping it out

Thoughts?

actually we need mohammed hassan with him in the WWE. that would be a kick ass return.

He left because he wanted to become an actor. I for one have not seen him in anything so we all know how that turned out.

^ oh, stupid move. Hopefully he comes back to wrestling. I remember the controversy about those terrorists abducting Undertaker on that one episode of Smackdown!

Sheik isn't the X-Division type of guy. He doesn't fly around, but he is a solid wrestler, and TNA needs a good heel x-division wrestler who is technical and not high flying like.

^ Why did they end up firing him? I forgot

He was fired because the network wouldn't let him appear on the WWE shows, because he was too controversial. He could only appear on PPVs, so he quit, and became an actor.
Anyway, fuck Daivari. Muhammed Hassan or nothing.

I don't even see Bashir on TNA anymore, so it's not that big of a loss. The show has been awesome, he didn't really add anything while he was there. He is a good wrestler, don't get me wrong, his feud with Creed was awesome, besides that, there was nothing.

Shiek Abdul Bashir (TNA) > Daivari (WWE)

I've always liked him more in TNA. Hopefully he stays, I wouldn't mind him in WWE though. RAW, ECW, or SD?

Yeah Bashir > Daivari

But if he were to go to WWE it would/should be ECW. Give him the title too :shifty:

He and WWE mutually agreed on the release since it would be easier for both sides than repackaging him.

If he comes: ECW. Otherwise, stay there, he's been much better there and has greater potential there.
