Big Show and Mark Henry have to be winding down by now (Henry will be around for 3 years, we know that but he could also be phased out during these years into a backstage or commentary role of some sort). So Morgan, who is comparatively young, athletic for his build. Has a good look and presence and is serviceable on the microphone could fill the role of a monster heel. God knows Brodus is going to need a lot of work to be taken seriously. Tensai is a veteran so he won't be around forever, neither will Kane and Mason Ryan doesn't scream monster. Matt Morgan can fill a hole in the wwe that could be empty in the next 3-4 years.

His size, look, presence and relative athleticism compared to most his size, for starters. He brings more to the table than 2/3 of the current WWE roster.

Good points, I'm just not into the whole "He is big so he should be signed" or deal that most people believe, the one thing I would include to that post would be his charisma, during 2010 and 2011 he was really over with the crowd but it all got derailed in 2012. Not saying he's bad but I don't think he should be signed over most people right now.

There are plenty of bigs on the scrap heap who have no business in the WWE, but it would be foolish to try and lump Morgan in with those guys. He is a real talent IMO. He isn't some body building stiff

If Mason Ryan cut his hair then he would be a lot more believable, haha. I watched him at a house show very recently and I thought he was great for the most part.

Ryan doesn't have monster size though. He's 6ft3. Morgan is like legit 7 feet tall. Even when placed next to Ryan he would look like a monster. Especially since Ryan has slimmed down since his last main show run.

I always saw huge potential in Morgan as a main event heel. He's got a great size and look, has become a credible talker over the last few years and isn't as terrible in ring as other giants on the WWE roster (I've found a few on his matches in TNA entertaining). If Morgan coming in means that Big Show can fade away then I'm all for it, but being honest he's going to get a good 3 months and will then be putting over guys like Brodus Clay and Sweet T.

He's worth a shot. WWE can use more athletic bigs if that's what they're looking for.
How long with Morgan's athleticism last though? He's already pushing 40.

At the moment he would definitely be the best monster on the roster outside of Henry, but much of Henry comes from his character.

I think he'd do pretty well honestly. His recent heel run in TNA was great, imo. I was loving it. He made a fan out of me.

He'd be ten times a better "monster" than that piece of garbage Ryback, that's for sure.
