WWE has hired a new writers assistant for SmackDown.
Sources have confirmed to me that Independent Wrestler Patrick Scott has been hired by WWE has the new writers assistant for SmackDown, and is said to be starting this Monday.
PWF in North Carolina did a send off for Scott on Saturday night. Following his performance, Patrick left his boots in the ring. He posted a message to social media thanking everyone.
Patrick Scott trained in North Carolina at the Carolina Wrestling Academy, and was trained by Steve Corino, Jakob Hammermeier, Zane Dawson, and Dave Dawson. Making his pro debut in 2016.
He has previously appeared on the September 17th, 2017 episode of WWE NXT where he teamed with Demitrius Bronson in a tag match that was won by Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight). Scott returned to WWE TV in 2018 during the April 11th episode of WWE NXT in a losing effort to Kona Reeves.
Patrick Scott is a former Deadlock Pro Wrestling World’s Tag Team Champion along with his partner Chance Rizer, and is also a two time PWF Unified Tag Team Champion.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about Patrick Scott and his new role within WWE.
