For once you're right. Vince obviously wasn't a champion. The history books will show him as a champion but it's not like he actually earned it, in kayfabe anyway. Adam just likes to be a smart arse.

I'm always right. The point is that Triple H is a wrestler, and Vince is not. That's all that was being said. Adam is simply a silly little putz who's fun to toy with around here.

While we're talking about Vince's "championship reigns", let's remember that David Arquette and Vince Russo were both WCW World Heavyweight Champion, too.

And Paul Heyman pinned CM Punk.

The point's well taken, though. Any time Vince gets in the ring/got in the ring, I worried that either he would get injured because he's not a fully-trained, experienced pro or that his lack of ability to do everything a fully-trained, experienced pro could do would lead to a crappy match. That's what happened more often than not, although he did get carried to a few decent matches over his life.

With HHH going into the ring, we don't have those concerns. We know he used to be arguably the best all-around in-ring performer in the business, so he knows how to do just about anything he'll be called on to do in the ring and make himself and his opponent(s) look good while doing it. As long as his quads don't tear (again), he'll do fine.

At least Jeff Jarrett was an actual professional wrestler. Even if all he ever did was "break a thousand guitars and never drew a dime" (Vince McMahon quotes rock).

LOL yeah. Great Vince quote. Funny 'cause it's true.

Is that really a Vince McMahon quote? I thought Mike Graham said it on The Rise And Fall Of WCW DVD (and don't recall that he was quoting anybody.) The end of the quote was also funny, "... but in his little Tennessean brain, he thought he was a bigger and better draw than Hulk Hogan was."

I think you're on the money there.

I've always heard it attributed to Vince, but that doesn't mean what I've always heard is right.

I don't think I've seen The Rise and Fall of WCW (which is weird, because that's the sort of thing I would probably enjoy...after all, I'm kind of strange). If I have, I don't remember it and need to watch it again to refresh my memory.
