WWE Having Announcer Tryouts

- WWE has been doing more announcer tryouts lately. Apparently they're looking at a former Superstar to bring in for commentary.

So if this is true, who are some of the guys who you believe could fit that mould? Obviously there's JBL and Foley given their recent time spent at the table but can't really think of many guys off the top of my head.

A guy like Flair if he wanted to leave TNA.

Maybe Shawn Michaels if he'd be willing to go on the road with WWE again.

Besides the ones that got named Piper comes to mind as well as Raven if he ever wanted to be apart of WWE again.

While Flair is entertaining, I don't know if I could stomach his voice for going on 2 hours. Maybe he could work on commentary where his voice would be alot more mellow.

Flair just doesn't come off as someone who can commentate. He is the perfect manager at this stage of his career more than a commentator. Would come off forced.

You have to be loud and forceful to be next to Cole. The guy makes it hard for JR and King to get in words, lol

Didn't mean forced in that manor, lol. Meant forced as in they'll probably try and tame him and clam him down to do commentary and knowing Flair that would just be too hard.

Probably Regal full time, as hes been doing nXt.

Just give Regal a bigger role behind the desk. Or even better, give Saxton a call.

Still wish they'd do an announcers tryout tv show like idol but for Coles replacement. My question is why are they trying people out whats wrong with Striker Matthews Regal

Regal should definitely be the one to take the next open spot on RAW or Smackdown. He is great on NXT and he would be a huge improvement on Lawler.
