I swore I read somewhere Vince still had final word on everything even if he wasn't there. He would still look over things, and say things he wanted taken off.
Vince will always have "final say" but that doesn't mean much if you aren't at the arena to rewrite the scripts each week.

He was notoriously bad about rewrites in 2018 in particular.

I like Bruce a lot and I don’t get the feeling he’s a Vince yes man as much as people like to believe. He did get shit canned for a long time. But no matter who is at the top of the pile it’s still always Vince’s call and until he drops dead we are stuck with it. We shouldn’t give Bruce shit for being the guy that gets the brunt of the Vince ire. I think it’s remarkable he’s been able to work with Vince so long.

I agree with you one hundred percent. Bruce gets a lot of unfair criticism imo.

From the point when Heyman was announced as the executive producer for Raw up until now, I have found Raw to be WWE's most interesting show. Not as good in-ring as NXT, but the best storylines and character developments and most engaging angles week to week. It has been eons ahead of Smackdown. I don't know who gets the credit for that, but the timeline of things would suggest Heyman has been a substantial factor in my enjoyment of Raw. I won't be surprised to see things get a lot more homogenized now that he's been cut out but I will judge things fairly until I see how it plays out.

It was like two to three weeks after Heyman came on board that the changes became noticeable so I think you can attribute them to him.

I hate Brother Love, but, I like Bruce Prichard. Having said that, Heyman was the man, I am not sure how to feel about this change. I'll give it a chance....

When I saw this I thought they were consolidating the Tag Team division again. Wouldn't shock me if that happened and the other titles eventually were again. Just seems like a lot of lost interest in the product, which results in losses of revenue.

Yeah, the lack of audience members have hurt the show, but it was still declining beforehand.

I dont really like CM Punk as a person but he was spot on about..
Vince's daughter. She has really hurt the company, which Vince put her in that position so he is to blame too.

His son in law aint no better. Yeah, he hires talented wrestlers (debatable) but many whine and cry a lot on Social Media. How you going to be taken seriously when everyone thinks your soft, dawg?
