Still wanting on someone surprising though.
Why? This class is pretty much one of the best ones in recent times regardless of whether they were surprises or not.

Taker was the American Badass. He can talk some real shit. We saw him on WWE TV come out and hug Ric Flair. It wouldn't hurt to let him be himself for 15 minutes to talk about someone who likely was really one of his best friends.

That was after Raw aired. Yeah, it was on the website and stuff but not near as many people saw it as they would have if it was on Raw. And even then, he still did his whole long ass entrance and stuff first. I think we can count the number of times 'Taker's broke kayfabe as the deadman on one hand.

I'd halt on the "not near as many people saw it" argument. There's a clip of it on Youtube with nearly 2 million hits right now. When WWE had the clip up on Youtube, I remember something like 4 million views in a matter of a week. I'm sure it was watched a lot on WWE.com itself as well.

Okay, then we'll use the other argument that you chose to ignore.

Just for the record, I'm not against 'Taker inducting Bearer at all, I'd just understand if he didn't and be okay with Kane doing it instead.

That's fair but I think that some of the fun is in not knowing who will be called. I mean the only surprise I can see coming atm is Celeb and that'll probably be trump

Trump was inducted last year. Would be a huge missed opportunity to not induct Mr. T this year. He was in the first main event of WrestleMania ever. Needs to go in for the 30th anniversary

Mr T doesn't wantto be in, and apparently a pain in the ass to work with.

She was always speculated given she was a lock for the hall but I don't really recall Lita being spoiled for this years?

That's a pretty interesting choice. Guess she can acknowledge the fact that shes apart of WWE cause she lost her Senate seat twice.

I think Hulk should have been his inductor, but since he'll be apart of 'Mania in other ways, it'll be okay. Linda is a weird choice though.

:lmao Weird choice but I have heard he was close with the family. Wonder if it is who he wants inducting him though. Wouldn't you want a fellow wrestler? Maybe noone else wanted to?

Guys not know that Warrior has had a good relationship with Linda throughout his entire career and has never said a bad word about her and was nothing but complimentary about her during interviews. So the choice isn't that weird.

WWE announced at tonight's SmackDown tapings in Little Rock that Carlos Colon will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year in New Orleans.

Colon last wrestled for WWE in 1993 at the Royal Rumble. He also appeared on a 2006 RAW to cheer on his son Carlito. Colon is also the father to Primo Colon (Diego of Los Matadores) and uncle to Orlando Colon (Fernando).
