If we look at it based solely on the title reign, I would say Daniel Bryan. His reign lasted a couple months, didn't mean anything, and he surrendered the championship due to injury and it took retiring, returning, turning heel, all over 5 years to get the title again.

But in terms of moments I feel like Rollins is the only one that that moment was still coming for him regardless of whether it happened at that particular time.

Therefore I'm going with Rollins.

I personally don't like that WWE rewrote history to make it seem like they always wanted Bryan to win the belt at that Mania and they sabotaged tf out of him as much before and after as they could, just didn't have to do it for very long after before he got hurt, but if he didn't, I don't think that reign would have been any good. Brie was already involved with Stephanie before he got hurt

Realistically Bryan’s reign probably would’ve been terrible.

He would’ve probably worked Kane a second time, then God knows who before getting killed by Brock at Summerslam.
