Iyo is like the only one I can think of thats been good lol
See for me (so yes you don’t gotta say it lol) Theory was good. Just the cash in was fucking dumb. Liv was also good, Priest is good. Big E. How far do you want to go back because honestly the only ones recently I think was bad was Otis and Nikki.

I liked Mella’s run with the briefcase and her cash-in was fun from what I remember. Maybe because I was at the SmackDown where she won it for a second time is why I liked it.

I understand the sentiment from Grim though. Even if you are pleased with the winners of the briefcase and/or happy to see them win the title... the actual booking of the person with the briefcase and oftentimes the cash-ins themselves have left a lot to be desired.

Multiple unsuccessful cash-ins at this point (how can you cock that up and expect me to take you seriously again?) and even with a guy like Big E, they just sprung his cash-in on people out of nowhere to pop a rating. Happy with how it worked out for E, but the booking was obviously less than ideal. Theory's was shit as already mentioned. Priest remains to be seen, obviously. They could nail the landing, but I know some people think he's held it for a bit too long now and missed countless opportunities to cash-in (another gap in logic with the concept)

Anyways I'd say we can give Triple H a year or two to see how he really handles things with full control over the concept, but like... it wouldn't hurt to not have two briefcases floating around each and every year. It's not offensive or anything, but they've pretty much already run out of good ideas for it, it seems. Maybe take a break and let it feel fresh again. Idk.

Personally still a fan of the concept and the actual event itself so I wouldn't really like it go away. They generally seem to do fine with the womens ones even if I hate the fact that they've had them cash in on the same night a couple of times already. Not trying to discredit the women in anyway because obviously i'm a big fan of them but I feel like with them you can almost put the briefcase on anyone who's gotten hot or whatever in the leadup to the event and have it work.

With the guys version it just seems a lot harder because of everything else involved. Shit like Roman having whatever belt at the time on lock, WHC being introduced and needing a good strong reign to solidify it etc. Priest absolutely was the right choice though.

They should just reduce it to one MITB briefcase each year. Have the Women and Men only be able to fight for the case every other year would heighten the importance of the whole thing, without them even having to do anything for it. Also it fights the oversaturation of the still incredibly good concept.

I would do away with the Money in The Bank PLE. I would do the Womens match on one night of Mania and the Mens match the other night.

Then I'd get rid of all the Match type PLEs. Hell in a Cell? Nah fam just have a Cell match when the feud calls for it. Elimination Chamber? Nah we'll just all of a sudden book an Elimination Chamber match for an upcoming PLE. TLC can go fuck itself and just do TLC matches (or their 1 letter variants) when the feud calls for it. Hell even Extreme Rules should go away. Shows need to be a mix of regular matches and gimmick matches.

Yes, a thousand times yes. The entire point of Hell in a Cell is that the feud is that personal, not because it's October.

TLC hasn't been a thing for years and I don't think HHH had full control to pull HIAC from the calendar while Vince was lurking. He didn't book them in 2023 so I think you're safe in not seeing them

I was getting ready to say I don’t remember a HITC since Seth/Cody.

iirc Hunter said he wanted to cut back on the gimmick PPVs and I think he’s done a decent job on it.

You gotta keep WarGames but everything else can go. Especially Extreme Rules
