I mean I'm fine with Punk being called a hypocrite for coming back, but I just don't really care tbh. I'm really happy with him in this anaylyst role bc he's still great on the mic, and I honestly would love if he ended up being a commentator as well bc he was always good at that. I'm just not excited to see him wrestling again, and I'm sure he'll end up having a few matches anyway just bc I doubt either WWE or Punk could resist milking that. I'm hoping it's just a Rumble appearance or something but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he had a 'Mania match this year whether we like it or not

Considering that he’s probably only gonna be on the show 1-2 a month, I doubt he’s getting THAT much money.

What’s interesting about this is we can use this show as a litmus test. The Backstage show from last week drew 49,000 viewers. With Punk being announced a week in advance, it’ll be interesting to see how much that number grows. Will determine if he’s a draw in 2019
