According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Ronda Rousey was “secretly” training at the WWE Performance Center for several months prior to signing with WWE. According to Shelburne, Rousey was training late at night when only a select few people were there. She says Rousey was traveling to the Performance Center while she was filming “Mile 22″ in Atlanta, GA (now filming in Colombia). WWE women’s wrestlers Natalya, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair were among those training with her.

Shelburne also reports that Rousey is “close to fighting shape” and has applied for trademarks to “Rowdy Ronda Rousey”. This means WWE will not own the name. Rousey’s first match is expected to take place at WrestleMania 34. Triple H recently said in an interview that Rousey will be back when she’s done filming “Mile 22”.

Secretly? Come on, every week there was a "Ronda seen at WWE PC", "Ronda training for pro wrestling" rumor.
