The whole thing seems to be in regards them to trademarking Ethan Page recently. Unless i'm totally missing something, I swear they've done this before with people? Now if they start letting people take their names that were created under the WWE banner like Becky Lynch for example, that's a whole different ball game.

I assume that means real names not stage names yeah. They probably realized it wasn't worth it considering every time it got contested they lost, not everyone is John Cena and will pay you residuals their whole life lmao

If someone used it before WWE they can use it after WWE. If it's their legal name they can use it.

WWE can copyright when the performer is in the company but when they leave the talent gets it back to them.
