Stop fucking around and get her on TV already.Eva Marie is reportedly listed as a member of the WWE roster on internal listings. It was reported back in mid-October that Marie was set to return to WWE, possibly as soon as the 2020 WWE Draft edition of RAW on October 12. That obviously never happened and there’s been no real update on Eva’s return since then.
In an update, PWInsider reports today that Marie is listed as a member of WWE’s internal roster, despite not being officially assigned to a brand.
The new report noted that Marie has been seen several times at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando since this past September. It was also reported back in October that Marie was seen undergoing medical testing that would be needed to enter the Amway Center, and that she came to terms on a return contract during the week of September 20. There is still no word on if Marie will be returning to wrestle, or to work as some sort of on-air personality, but the fact that she’s listed on the roster indicates that this will be a TV role for the former Divas Search competitor.
Becky/Seth vs Charlotte/Andrade loom.WrestleVotes reports that there has been an idea discussed to have Charlotte Flair and Andrade paired on TV when they return.
Everyone knows that they are a couple in real-life but that has never been mentioned on TV, likely because they didn’t want to cause a conflict with Andrade being paired with Vega as a business associate on TV.
Now that Vega is gone and Andrade is back to being a singles wrestler, it looks like he will be getting a bigger spotlight. WrestleVotes noted that the idea is to use Charlotte’s star power to elevate Andrade into the main event scene.
Paul Heyman wanted to elevate Andrade but the push stalled after Heyman was ousted as Executive Director of Raw. The good news is that it looks like Vince McMahon is on board with pushing Andrade as a top star.
WrestleVotes reports: “An idea that’s been discussed however not determined at this point is an on screen pairing of Charlotte & Andrade when they return to TV. The idea behind it is to use Charlotte’s star power to elevate Andrade into the main event scene.”
While there have been rumors about The Rock facing Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 37 as the culmination of WWE’s “head of the table” storyline, WWE has reportedly been discussing various scenarios for Wrestlemania that don’t involve Rock. WWE is said to be interested in having Rock wrestle but his movie schedule combined with insurance issues and Covid-19 complicate the process.
Louis Dangoor of WrestleTalk.com is reporting that WWE is considering Bill Goldberg, Big E, and Daniel Bryan as possible Wrestlemania opponents for Reigns. Dangoor noted the following:
“Sources have also told us that RAW’s Drew McIntyre has been brought up in meetings as a potential opponent for Reigns at ‘Mania if The Rock can’t make the show, with higher-ups impressed with the work Roman and Drew did at Survivor Series last month.”
