He’s only 40. They could still bring him back and make him world champion. He could argue that he never got a fair shot because of his race and now he’s back to claim what’s his.

He was a great heel. He even says it himself in the interview that he and Daivari didn’t have to try to get heat

Lowkey I was 8 and 9 during his run and that shit had me questioning America already bc he was making too much sense in his promos (before SmackDown made him a full fledged terrorist) :lol I remember asking my parents why people were booing the man bc he was born in Detroit :TI:

He does say it was easy. Says it multiple times.

But just cause it’s easy doesn’t mean you can plug anyone into the gimmick and make it work

Fair enough. So he’s good enough at least to pull off one that’s easy.

I do remember hating the fuck out of him as a kid lol. Dude could’ve had a great career for sure if not for everything just falling into place the way it did.

I just got done watching the full interview and he even says that if he were to do that same exact gimmick with the same promos today, he’d probably be the biggest babyface in the world. Cause nothing he said was wrong

It’s crazy to me that he was supposed to win the World Championship at Summerslam. Shit goes down in London and he’s killed on PPV a month before

His Raw run was 100% factual and true to how Arab-Americans were treated post 9/11. Man even spent the first few months talking about how he loved America and just wanted us to love him back :TI:

Yeah now I would agree with him. My views have changed so much since I was a kid. I think a lot of people have. Cause like, I tell people all the time we can’t judge everyone off others actions and shit.

I just find it hilarious that wwe had men in masks come beat the shit out of the Undertaker. It’s like they have no sense of right and wrong lmao

Tbh if it didn’t air the same thing as the bombings in London, it wouldn’t have been a huge deal.

On a taped show with a good few hours to edit it before it aired :DEAD:

They should’ve had the hindsight to go and edit the show knowing what happened in London.

The argument was there wasn't enough time to put something in it's place I believe. Replaying full matches on Raw and SmackDown wasn't common then :jade

I can agree to this for sure. Seems like something they could have easily edited out. Then maybe try and get someone to shoot a promo or add some sort of recap or video package to fill the time that was cut.

If I were wwe I would’ve taken it even farther and had Hassan come out and praise the London bombings. Wonder how that would’ve gone over.
