Seems to be similar options to what it was before with changes to how you make bodies, and options for personas. A lot of out there stuff from the old DLCs from 2k20, so I'd imagine you can create a super hero. They even have like Goku Hair.

Edit: A small change I like, from the generic options, they aren't pure white so I can tell what the designs are.

Tbh I haven't played much of any since 2K15 which pissed me off bc they stripped the creation suite to nothing that game (heard it was fixed the next year tho)

Yeah the Create a Superstar stuff is pretty deep, though it can always include more stuff. But people have done well creating everyone from IRL wrestlers to Spiderman.

I don't remember when it started but around maybe svr 2010 or so I just got obsessed with making superheroes lol I think just bc most wear wrestling trunks or tights to start with gave me the idea and then it ended up being fun

I think this was actually the Day of Reckoning hair I had I think, I made it gold like super saiyan tho

Also this video is surprisingly helpful in terms of creating a decent looking CAW.

And I am SO using that hair for one of my CAWs.

Game looks so much better than the recent ones, especially 2K20, and it has GM mode. Hard not to be tempted to buy it. At least looks like they put a decent amount of effort in this time around.

It seems stripped back compared to other GM modes though. That is a bit of a negative, but it is a start.
