So, as I said. You need to play defence rather than just trying to move up the board immediately. That's what gets you lots of losses and it took me a while to work that out.
These two are your crucial moves, make sure you have high offence cards in these two slots. Save these for further up the board.
What you want to do is attack your back line as far back as you can without revealing the next line for the computer to be able to take it. So reveal these 3 and let them move ahead recklessly.
Your best hope is they place a card into this slot:
But even if not, at this stage you use one of the previously mentioned cards (If you have them). If possible the top line:
Followed by the one with the entire block:
Once you've taken those pick off the rest as best you can.
This is not fool proof, but it's the tactic I use every day and from what you said I get a bit further than you do lol.
