WWE Files Trademarks For Several WCW PPVs Previously Filed By Cody

WWE has filed six new trademarks with The United States Patent and Trademark Office, all of which were former WCW properties.

HeelByNature.com has confirmed, on 11/2, WWE filed trademarks for the following.

• Slamboree
• The Match Beyond
• Bunkhouse Stampede
• BattleBowl
• SuperBrawl
• Bash At The Beach

I was just going to make this comment, I hope it’s not just more petty shit that they’re trademarking so AEW doesn’t use any of the titles. Bash at the Beach is a must.

Definitely was a trade off. Cody his name back(which he's been lying about for 6 years) and WWE gets this intellectual property.

I doubt WWE has any intention of using all of these but I can see Slamboree and Bash at The Beach being Takeover specials next year

Love them all except 'The Match Beyond.' Have no recollection of that one, and it sounds pretty bad. The rest rule, though. As others have said here, WWE really better utilize these names in the future and not have them just to keep them from AEW. I have some faith that they will use them since they used Halloween Havoc recently and it actually succeeded and beat AEW in the ratings that week, which NXT rarely does. So, I have some hope they might actually use these names. Don't use them all for NXT though and use them for the main roster as well, please.

Yeah, I think "The Match Beyond" was supposed to specifically refer to the portion of the match where everyone was finally involved. But most of the time they'd just say "WarGames: The Match Beyond" as a tagline
