It would be pointless in my opinion if Mysterio won this match. Rhodes got the win at WM and to keep his momentum and to give him a shot at moving into the mainevent he needs to get a second clean win over Mysterio.

I've gotta feeling Mysterio will win. I think that they need another face in the main event now that Edge is retired and Kane & Big Show are a tag team.

This match could go either way, at least in my opinion. We know that both Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes can work well together and have some fairly good matches together. I'm note entirely sure who will win this match, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Rey Mysterio will most likely get the victory over Cody Rhodes. The feud will most likely continue after Extreme Rules right until Over the Limit.

I think that Mysterio is over enough that he can lose at Extreme Rules and it won't hurt his standing on the roster one bit. The fans will still see him as a title threat even with two consecutive PPV loses. Rhodes on the other hand really needs this win and WWE need new mainevent stars and giving Rhodes another win over a big name like Mysterio will get him close to that level.
