EraoftheEvanscopy.png

In October 2007, WWE ratings hit the lowest ever. And it kept going down. Vince McMahon then made the biggest decision of his life. He decided to stop! He appeared in the Raw ring the night after No Mercy, and there he told everyone that as of Monday, March 31, 2008, WWE would no longer have an owner. At least not an owner named McMahon. He officially planted the WWE co-operation as available on the market. Then on the night of the co-branded Pay-Per View Survivor Series, Vince McMahon once again appeared in the ring. And again with world wide shocking news. The name of the new owner of WWE, and that appeared to be an unknown multi-billionaire named Mark Evans. Mr. McMahon also announced that Mark Evans would appear the next night on Raw in person, to speak of his plans with the WWE in the future. And he did. The young billionaire came to the ring where he then presented his wife Tami Evans, his brother Bill Evans, and his 14-year old son Zack Evans. But before that, the soon to be owner of World Wrestling Entertainment topped Vince McMahon as far as who could shock the wrestling world the most. He told live on television that as soon as WrestleMania 23 was over, every single contract signed by Vincent Kennedy McMahon would be worthless. And then he would spend the next month signing superstars, divas and staff members. And also, no more ECW. And then on Sunday, April 20, he will kick of the Evans' era with Backlash. And then before leaving, he promised that it would be a night no one would ever forget.....

A memorable WrestleMania, and a memorable last night of the era of the McMahon's, has now taken place. Now all the superstars can do is wait and hope to get contacted by Mr. Mike Evans in the following month. Mr. Evans has already stated that he really hopes to get the possibility to present both new and old faces in the new era of World Wrestling Entertainment.

In his first appearence on WWE.com the new owner Mr. Mike Evans congratulated and thanked Vince McMahon for a record-braking WrestleMania, and promised the fans that it wasn't the last time WWE has had the pleasure of Vincent Kennedy McMahon's presence. When asked about the roster-signing etc., he stated that he would like to officialy name the staff members of the shows right away. And they go as followed:

Raw:

General Manager: Mike Evans

Commentators: Jim Ross & Jerry "The King" Lawler

Announcer: Lilian Garcia

Interviewer(s): Maria & Todd Grisham

SmackDown:

General Manager: Bill Evans

Commentators: Michael Cole & Tazz

Announcer: Tony Chimel

Interviewer: Anastacia

He then ended the interview by saying that he would do his very best to make the new WWE roster as perfect as possible. And that he already had a bunch in mind, consisting of both former WWE superstars, former WCW superstars, former ECW superstars and current TNA superstars. And he closed it by saying that when he's in control, anything can happen. ANYTHING!

It is now officially that the new owner of the World Wrestling Entertainment earlier today came to an agreement of terms with none less that 11 more superstars. Who they are is still an open question, but a very close source has let us know that among the new signings there's both former TNA and ECW superstars, and also at least one former WWE title holder. More info as soon as possible.

Okay people, here at WWE.com we now have what everyone has been waiting for. The complete roster of the new era in World Wrestling Entertainment. But to drag it out a bit more, we will wait a bit before releasing the whole roster. Be prepared to be shocked. Be prepared for one of the most talented roster in the history.

Also Mr. mike Evans has informed WWE.com two things:

1: On the night of April 20, it was scheduled to be Backlash. But instead Mr. Evans has chosen to give us all the pleasure of bringing us the first ever, and ONLY, WWE Night of an Era instead. He promises it will be a night to remember forever.

2: In between now and Night of an Era, Mr. Evans will divide the roster into two brands. It will also be revealed which championships is going to which brand. And last, but not least, Mr. Mike Evans has also revealed that now that he owns the World Wrestling Entertainment he also owns the rights for WWE Films, and he will reveal shortly whether he choses to go into production of WWE Film's next film, or if he will sell the rights.

Tune in.
