They’ve been building up Sami as an annoying asshole for the better part of a year just so he can get his ass kicked on the big stage. Braun killing him and winning the title back at Mania will be his “Mania moment”

Its a marathon, not a sprint.

Hot shotting titles hurts everyone. This is stupid booking.

Instead Braun looks like a chump who can’t defend his title even once against a guy who has been a flop (Nakamura), a guy who’s ceiling is a tag team wrestler (Cesaro) and a guy less intimidating than the goddamn referee (Zayn).

She's just been booked as a monster and she needs to feel like a monster to beat Becky (considering Becky has got the Cena/Roman treatment as far as booking goes).
It's also not a dissimilar style to the Brock vs Drew booking with the Royal Rumble match, except in that case the face will go over Brock. Make your heel look like a monster to elevate the challenge for your big face. As it stands, Shayna is that weird goth chick who bit Becky for those who don't follow NXT. This makes her feel more like a legitimate top carder who could actually defeat Becky.

The problem though is how apathetic the fans have been to Shayna, including last night. At this rate, I would rather just see Becky retain at Mania because Shayna isn't igniting much interest. And I imagine that unless they do something more substantial between now and Mania, Becky and Shayna are going to have one of the more quiet matches at Mania.
