You know once upon a time I would’ve thought they were never gonna retire that belt, but they’ve seemingly retired every other belt they had with history. Think about it. The original tag, women’s are all dead in lieu of brand new belts, and they seem to love that universal word so it could go either way, but I think you’re right.

HHH is way more of a history mark, I definitely can't see it now. Vince wanted his buzzwords over so much I was predicting a new SUPERSTARS championship replacing it after we got Divas tho

What I think they should do and this is probably not what they’re gonna do is I think they should unify the belts, drop the universal lineage, but give the universal name to the wwe championship and then start referring to the belt that Seth is holding as the wwe world championship like they did when the brand extension first took place in 2016. I’m fine with the belt design and fine with one belt being the world title, but it should have the WWE name attached to it.

You do the same thing with the women’s obviously. WWE women’s world champion and WWE women’s universal champion.

And that's definitely the best time to do it, give us a few weeks to breath after Mania and wrap stuff up, then get some fresh matchups going. Plus this way if they ever do go back to brand vs brand shit at survivor series the draft isn't 3 weeks before
