WWE Draft 2024 Results *SPOILERS*

It's fine as it is and serves it's purpose but there's not really going to be any surprise or drama unless they do some dumb shit that would actually harm the product itself like IC&US title on the same brand, or they break up tag teams / factions just for shock value.

Like they had a story for Vinci so him being drafted wasn't a huge shock even though I was surprised by it, but off the top of my head he's the only person from a tag team or faction who got split up. They even drafted Carlito as part of the LWO even though he attacked Dragon Lee and is obviously kicked out or is gonna be kicked out.

The only thing I think they should have done is let the injured folk be draftable. It adds both some intrigue bc you can kayfabe the strategy of if it's worth taking someone injured for the benefit they will bring when healthy or if it's a waste of pick. And then non kayfabe, it would have just been bigger names they could have thrown out there and if they're out more than a few months you can ignore where they were drafted anyway if you change your mind

I kinda agree with Taker tbh myself. I even tweeted after Raw on Monday it felt lackluster this year. I wanna go back to the old days where it was a match for the draft pick then we get the superstar randomizer where the winning brand gets someone from the other brand.

I much prefer a boring logical draft to the abominations we've gotten in the past. I do think they should do away with the full "draft" anyway and go back to the style of just a few picks a year that switch, but I could do without the matches like you're saying and even go back to the tumbler with names like they did in 2004 lol

I just want something where every pick is a change of brand, but also where it makes sense it might not be all big names changing, so the tumblr works also

I think Undertaker himself even mentioned about 'trading up' like they do in the NFL but given it's only 2 brands against however many it is in the NFL, I don't think that would even translate well either.

For me though, the only way for it to actually get spicy is by allowing NXT to draft aswell but that obviously brings a whole lot of issues with it too.

I’ve always liked the old style draft where they would have a match and the winning brand gets a pick. This whole come out and draft the entire roster is stupid.

I'm cool with the explanation but I don't even think it's needed here. The draft pools were released before he turned, that's all anyone had to say instead of acting like it was weird he got drafted with them.
