When do the rosters go into place though? WWE.com says after Backlash but the dirtsheets said after Night of Champions

I’m guessing plans changed. Night of Champions crowns the new champion so I’m guessing the rosters are set.

I'm like 90% sure I heard Cole say last night that the rosters go into effect the Raw after next which would be after Backlash and leaves only SmackDown and Backlash to blow off any feuds not continuing

Yeah this is super weird to me, I'm mostly assuming a Raw guy still wins and they're just doing this for better matchups which is fine but kayfabe it's really weird after how HHH presented the belt lol

It’s confusing since Roman has now been drafted to SmackDown.

If they were smart they’d have someone change the brackets after Raw’s draft.

They didn't announce brackets, it was just explicitly said "both raw and smackdown superstars will compete"

Yeah, this whole thing is a mess. The whole point of the belt if to give both brands a champ. You need to either crown the champion before the draft or only allow one brand to compete for it after the draft. Who wrote this?
