WWE Diva Not Cleared to Wrestle, Vince Says No More Heels and Faces, George Barrios

- Georgie Barrios is now working out of WWE's TV facility as opposed to the main headquarters in Stamford. He’s now in charge of everything there, which is a major change. They are also doing a lot of interviews and additional hiring for the Network right now.

- For what it's worth, Vince McMahon said there are no more babyfaces and heels at a recent creative meeting.

- The reason Layla hasn't been around is because she is not medically cleared to wrestle. There are no details as to whether this is an injury or another reason and there is no estimated date listed for her return.

Guess the network is in its finals stages now and Layla must be sick.

The last part reminds me of Vince in 97 saying the company was past the point of good guys and bad guys and the fans didn't want that. It would explain the way Steph and Trips act from week to week, as well as Miz. I mean I have no problem with guys being them in the sense Austin can stun anyone, trips or Shawn can backstab anyone, and Kane could just randomly tombstone a bitch. I'm not big on the bipolar way Miz looked

People aren't black and white. If they're serious about PG it'd be nice to have more people that work in the grey area. People are selfish a little clever backstabbing could go a long way. Take the Cena thing for example. Be a good move to have Reigns pull too. Maybe get him or ambrose 30 spot like hey I'm doing this for the group then eliminates group.

I agree its fine to walk in some grey. The whole 00-01 era saw Rock, Austin, taker, and Kane veer in and out all the time. They can all do it as they don't need to be all good or all bad, just can't have guys like Miz going all smiley the week after.

I'd like Vince to elaborate on that statement, I really don't know what he means. Looking at the two main characters in the light right now, John Cena is the babiest face there ever was and Orton is such a cartoon-y scumbag.

Some characters now are a bit deeper and have their own "flaws" and I dig it. But what does "there are no more babyfaces and heels" even mean?

I would guess Trips and Steph personify it. One week they are screwing Bryan, now they are giving him spotlight, same with Big Show getting a tag title shot. I guess that's the blur

But there's blurring the lines and then there's just inconsistency or whatever you want to call it. As good as the whole Best For Business thing can be, alot of the time it's pretty senseless and yes I know this is wrestling and the whole shebang about logic etc.

Heels/faces is such an outdated concept it is beyond embarrassing when so called experts bring that up. You don't see Game Of Thrones fan crying about good guys and bad guys. The days of the Opie baby faced good guy is stuck in the past.

Too many smark savvy fans nowdays, you can't force feed the audience a shitty wrestler anymore and expect them to accept it. Lashley was WWE's great white (black?) hope and they pinned all their hopes on, but he got catcalled out of every fucking buliding he entered.

I still think theres room for the whiter-than-white babyfaces and the dastardly bad guys on the extreme end of the scale, but everyone elses character should be open to interpretation, if people don't like Cody Rhodes for example you book him accordingly and not a suck up.
