OK, I agree to an extent.
Yes, the storylines arent as good as in the attitude era, but thats because they have to wait at least 10-15 years before using those strylines again (some of them anyways)... But really, its easy to look back now and say how bad feuds/storylines are, but you need to think more than that...
Heres some kickass feuds I can remember with good storylines since 2005 (which is when most people say sorylines have gone downhill)
Cena/Orton
Lashley/Vince
DX/the mcmahons
Edge/Taker
Batista/Taker
Cena/Jericho
HHH/Batista
Rey Mysterio/Eddie Guerrero
Ric Flair/Triple H
Y2J's return was good
The mcmahon death could have been well done.
The McMahon son thing was great too (except for 'swoggle)
So, its not that bad. Right now, I cant totally say wwe is at my expectations, as it has some low points, but I can say that you made it sound liek theres been nothing in the past 3 years, but all the feuds I just pointed out have been great.....
Also, I dont like what you did in your post. Instead of talking about the big feuds, and wheter or not they are good or bad, you tried to make wwe look bad by talking about lower card feuds such as Cantino vs London/kendrick (or whoever theyre feuding with)... But ya, that loses some credibility of your post. If your going to critisize wwe, point out stuff about their top feuds, dont point out lwoer card feuds as ifg thats all they have to offer...
Also, about Kennedy... he is being pushed right now. Instead of feeding him to HHH, they are putting him into a feud (with a solid storyline) and at the same time, he's winning matches, and gaining popularity, while Burchill also gets a nice rub from it. So its good for everyone... But Kenendy will keep doing this, til hes big enough to have the credibility to hang with the big boys...
So as I said, wwe is not what it should be right now. But you made it look worse than it is, but we've had some good stuff over the past couple of years...
Wow, I just owned this thread.
