Exactly, like shit I seen a lot of people calling for this after they saw AEW doing it. Me being one of them.

Like even if it ain’t much noise, just something really helps.

Superstars in the crowd, have an interviewer going around and asking them for their thoughts on how the match is going etc. Anything other than what they have going now, i've watched probably one total show with no crowds.

This is so needed. You can really see the impact fans have on matches. We watch old wrestling every few days and just seeing and hearing the loud crowds is so satisfying. Having no one there is dreadful. AEW had it right.

That wasn't negative of WWE, I just know how it would end up in WWE. Keep kayfabe alive at least on TV.

AEW are keeping the wrestlers in character - they've just got them on separate sides of the ring (mostly) dependant on the face/heel divide. It's really working well too - guys that aren't getting over in the ring (Shawn Spears as an example) is actually really entertaining to watch ringside. Sometimes they get involved in the matches (bitch slaps from wrestlers etc)... they're not only playing their characters, they're playing their characters being fans at ringside.

The other element of course is that AEW are clearly having fun with this wheras WWE as SO afraid of moving away from their 20+ year old template of what a show is that they're still stuck in corperate speak and set routines for the wrestler entrances. Shit, Jericho has pretty much made a star of Sugar Dunkerton just because he was sitting ringside for a show.

It's actually a really good way to break the "there isn't enough screen time for everyone to get over" dilema because putting them ringside get's them on screen and, if they're entertaining, then people will see it and they'll get over!
