This would be great if it happened but this will not happen but this is how I would set it up.
I would use Cody Rhodes as a beat up man in the tourny that goes along way which would push him and others.
John Cena vs Shelton Benjamin
WINNER: John Cena, This match could give Shelton a push back up the card, Have Shelton and Cena go at it for about 20 minutes to show Benjamins ability but have the champ win in about a twenty minute match.
Carlito vs Sandman
WINNER: Carlito, This match could be the match to end the rivalry of Sandman and Carlito, I would have Carlito win by cheating someway and this match could also push Carlito giving him a second round match against the champ.
Jeff Hardy vs Chris Masters
WINNER: Chris Masters, Have Masters be a suprise entry and represent Smackdown, Masters should be pushed on Smackdown then beat Hardy in this match which could create a good fued between Jeff Hardy on Chris Masters, This would be a great move to push Masters and have him beat Jeff Hardy.
King Booker vs Lashley
WINNER: LASHLEY, This match could create a good fued for Lashley and Booker, Have Lashley win cleanly over Booker and move Lashley onto the next round, The WWE have pushed Lashley and should continue after what they have done with him.
Umaga vs HBK
WINNER: HBK via DQ, I would have Umaga destryou HBK to push Umaga therther with HBK injured make this his return match and have Umaga continue to smack HBK with a Steel Chair injuring him again
HHH vs Randy Orton
WINNER: Randy Orton, Have this match with HHH trying to win for HBK because of what Orton done to him, This match could steal the show and could be a great half an hour main event match on raw, I would end up having Orton win after Edge does something to get involved then have HHH and Edge fued on Smackdown for the WHC Championship until the Undertaker returns then HHH would go back to Raw.
Snitsky vs Super Crazy
WINNER: Snitsky, Have Snitsky go out there and just destroy Super Crazy, put Crazy on injury lift then have Crazy return a few months later on Smackdown and have him go for the cruiserweight championship.
Kennedy vs Cody Rhodes
WINNER: Cody Rhodes, Use this match with the future going up against eachother and having Rhodes win would give him a big push and get him closer to fighting Orton later on in the the tournament after there fued. I would make Rhodes win by DQ have Ken Kennedy just dominate Cody Rhodes for the whole match then have Kennedy not break a hold and have the ref DQ him to push both men turning Kennedy into a bigger heel and have him beat Rhodes after the match and have Rhodes win his first match.
Second Round.
John Cena vs Carlito
WINNER: John Cena, This match would be great for Carlito to push him and have this go for about 20 minutes to showcase the ability of Carlito, I would have Cena have a massive win, Cena kicks out to BackCracker and hits FU on Carlito for the win sending Cena into the final 4.
Chris Masters vs Lashley
WINNER: Chris Masters, I would give Masters a win here and a win with the Masterlock with ref having to stop fight after King Booker gets involved because Booker lost to Lashley to knock him out of tournament, I would have the ref down then Booker and Masters attack Lashley then Masters locks in Masterlock and makes Lashley give up which would set up a Booker vs Lashley fued.
HBK vs Orton
WINNER: Orton, This match would be over in ten seconds, HBK was injured in his last match against Umaga and have HBK come out when he is not right, HBK would not no where he is then walk straight into a RKO, Orton would then beat down on HBK and kill the legand of HBK yet again which would set up HBK vs Orton fued in early 2008 when HBK would return again.
Snitsky vs Cody Rhodes
WINNER: Cody Rhodes, This would be a huge upset but have Cody Rhodes be attacked by Kennedy then ref would DQ Snitsky because of Interfearence, Snitsky would dominate the match then Kennedy comes and causes him the loss. This would push Cody Rhodes but then after the match have Snitsky just pound away on Cody Rhodes to push Snitsky into more of a monster heel.
Final 4
John Cena vs Chris Masters
WINNER: John Cena, This would be a good match to see, This should be a thirty minute main event match ending with Cena winning cleanly, This would push both Cena and Masters and would give Masters another ME run.
Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes
WINNER: Randy Orton, Randy Orton would win easily over Rhodes, Have Orton toy with Rhodes then have him hit RKO to win which would set up great WWE Championship match between Orton and Cena.
WWE Championship Match
John Cena vs Randy Orton
WINNER: John Cena, This would be a great match with a great build up, This would be a good thirty minute PPV main event match, I would have Cena win cleanly over Orton and have Cena as the unstoppable man saying that he is beat another 16 men for his title, This match would also push Orton back into the ME.
