WWE Bringing Back The Casket Match......kinda

For the 12/9 SmackDown/ECW taping in Bridgeport, CT, the official website of the Arena at Harbor Yard is advertising a Casket Match between Undertaker and Big Show. This will likely be a dark match following the television taping.

That's kinda like advertising that Angelina Jolie or for the fanboys Haylie Williams will be appearing somewhere but only after it closes. Seriously why would they waste that on a dark match when they could use it on a ppv or at least a tv show and get some ratings out of it.

they probably are doing it as a dark match because they want to see how the crowd reacts to it. See if Taker & Big Show can pull off the gimmick. If they do it well maybe at Survivor Series or Armageddon we will see it as the blow off match to there fued. The WWE does this often, usually more with just a main event infront of a none TV crowd prior to the PPV announcement. Its a great way to gage what kinda heat you can get from the crowd.
