He was getting some great heat, even at the end of him messing with the fan he pantomimed reeling in a fish while saying "this is what I do." It was funny. TMZ can fuck off with needing everything to be politically correct.

Anyone else find it odd how TMZ can spout fake outrage over someone saying homo, but they can continually rip apart people on their website and TV shows all the time.

Fuck them and homos who take their shit too serious. Your shit donm't stink homos, it smells like dick.

CM face turn in Australia - Respecting John Cena, CM Punk chants heard.

CM Punk cuts a promo respecting John Cena and shakes his hand. I love how CM Punk is just doing what he wants to do right now.

He is kind of becoming a face with his "what are you gonna fire me" mode, and the fact that the fans hate the boss only solidifies his portrayal as a face. He can continue to use heel tactics and piss off the fans, but if on July 17 he's to be the ultimate face, why not build up as a face to MITB as well?

A little similar to Stone Cold's babyface character right now, going against the boss, exercising the US Constitution's 1st Amendment type of thing; this time around, he doesn't confront Vince face to face, but everything he says is true beyond a storyline.

NOTE: I merged the three Australian tour threads into the one thread, there was no need for three seperate threads.

Punk is just doing what he wants at the moment. The crowd will love him either way and with house shows it doesn't really matter what he does since all that matters is what occurs on television and PPVs.

Punk working as a face sounds about right considering he's going to be one at MITB. Shit should be interesting, and it's cool to see how his character is molding before a big spot coming up for him.

More freedom on a house show to cut promos like these which aren't relevant to current storylines. Don't think we will hear something like that on RAW next week but lets Cena get the crowd worked up on a house show and feel they got their money's worth. Also could be used as a run through for when he starts cutting these promos directed at The Rock on RAW.

I'm wondering if WWE is having a problem with these promos getting out online or not?

Probably not since it's getting more of a buildup, but still. The promo where Punk showed Cena some love could be a problem.

Casuals and kids don't go online looking for houseshow results.

Punk will still get the same amount of heat.

Only a minority will see videos like this from the houseshows. The majority will have no idea what happens and will only follow what happens on the television shows and PPVs.
