WWE announces Hall of Fame Ceremony, NXT Stand and Deliver for WrestleMania Week

After two years of WrestleMania being affected by COVID-19, this year's event will look a bit closer to normal.

WWE announced via the Dallas Morning News today that it is returning to putting on a full slate of in-person events during WrestleMania 38 week. That will include this year's Hall of Fame ceremony, NXT Stand & Deliver, episodes of SmackDown and Raw, and "a 'Superstore Axxess' interactive fan experience."

All of the shows will take place in the Dallas area surrounding WrestleMania 38. Dates, locations, and ticket information for the events have yet to be announced.

In 2020, the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony was canceled due to the pandemic. The 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame classes were inducted in a ceremony that was taped at the WWE ThunderDome last year.

Stand & Deliver will be the first NXT event to take place outside of Florida since the start of the pandemic. It will also be NXT's first show outside of Florida since the NXT 2.0 rebrand.

WrestleMania 38 is being held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3.

Again, while all of this has been cautioned as preliminary as Wrestlemania week activities are locked down, PWInsider.com is told the current plan is to air the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Peacock and the WWE Network on Friday evening 3/31.

While there is no word if the show would take place live or be taped ahead of time, as of today, we are told the current working plan would be to have it air after Friday Night Smackdown is off the air on FOX, so that would mean the HOF broadcast couldn't start until at least 10 PM EST, which would be 9 PM in Dallas.

WWE is still working out all their schedule details for Wrestlemania 38 weekend, so again, subject to change as they lock in their plans.

While PWInsider.com has been cautioned this information is still very preliminary and could change as plans are locked in, we have been told the WWE NXT Stand and Deliver special for Wrestlemania 38 weekend is currently slated for the same day as Wrestlemania Night One.

The preliminary plan is to hold the show as a Saturday 4/2 matinee event from 12 - 3 PM EST prior to Wrestlemania 38 that evening.

There is no word on what venue would house the event in the Dallas area.
