WWE And AEW Reportedly Interested In Thunder Rosa

There's now a lot of speculation on Thunder Rosa possibly joining AEW or WWE.

As noted, Serena Deeb captured the NWA World Women's Title from Rosa during last night's UWN Primetime Live event from the National Wrestling Alliance and the United Wrestling Network.

In an update, Dave Meltzer noted on Twitter that the title change had been rumored for some time, and that both AEW and WWE have interest in signing Rosa.

With that said, PWInsider adds that Rosa remains under contract to the NWA, and this title change is not a situation where she is leaving for another company, at least for now.

Regarding Deeb, who is now with AEW after being released from her WWE Performance Center job earlier this year, word was that the NWA Women's World Title will continue to be represented on AEW TV. Tonight's Dynamite episode will see Deeb defend her title against Leyla Hirsch.

As much as I normally say WWE but I want Rosa to sign up with AEW and help that division out.

No shock to see WWE and AEW wanting her services because she has all the tools to be the Ace of their Division I feel. For years I've wanted a Latina to get that top tier status in one of the big companies and I'm hoping Thunder Rosa can reach that status. I think she already has a great fanbase that includes me to go along with her MMA/Let's take to the Street style to go against any lady in any Company and have a great Match with. Should be interesting who she signs with in the end.

She had matches with them as NWA Champion but it was under an agreement with the NWA or something

Yeah, they do since WWE is over crowded with female talent and probably has the best roster when it comes to the woman. Right now AEW does indeed need Rosa more since only Ivelesse, Dynamite and Shida can wrestle. Meanwhile, Britt is the only one with a personality. So yeah, AEW it is with me.

Rosa can't help out the women's division in AEW, creative has to do that..If she signs with AEW she'll be on Dark like the rest of them. Her best option is NXT.. She has potential to be a huge star and that won't happen in All Elite.

I could see her being a woman they actually get behind and use on TV. Plus their new show that’s going to be coming at some point. AEW could be a good fit. She’s already did shows for them.
