WrestleMania Fallout

WrestleMania to remain a Two Night Event
Backstage reception to the first two night show of shows is nothing but positive and it has been confirmed that the showcase of the immortals will remain a two night event.

A New WWE Chairman & Change to WWE Programming?
It has been reported that WrestleMania 35 was the last event that Vincent K McMahon would be at the helm for and as such has handed the reins over to Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Stephanie McMahon. With Levesque taking control of the creative direction of the company while Stephanie will be handling the backstage part.

If that wasn’t shocking enough HHH has also announced that Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown would be gaining more attention and as a result 205 Live has been canceled with the roster to be split between RAW & SD and the title to float between the brands.

Backstage Morale is Skyrocketing and No Injuries coming out of WrestleMania
With the news that Vince won’t be playing such a key role going forward it has become known that backstage morale is improving. Another report has also revealed that no injuries took place at WrestleMania.

The End of the WWE - Saudi Arabia Deal
Another piece of shocking news is that the WWE - Saudi Arabia Del has concluded prematurely due to increased pressure from their other sponsors.

Brock Lesnar & Ronda Rousey are Gone from WWE for Now
The now former WWE Universal & WWE RAW Women’s Champions, Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey respectively have both finished up with WWE for the foreseeable future.

Dean Ambrose, Goldust, Luke Harper and Lars Sullivan leave WWE
The final piece of news is that a quartet of releases have been granted but don’t get stressed out this isn't the beginning of some sort of post-mania series of releases as all of these were mutual. The first is Dean Ambrose who lost a loser leaves WWE match who is expected to join both NJPW and AEW, the second was Goldust who is also expected to join AEW. The final two are Luke Harper who has been receiving multiple offers from a bunch of different promotions, finally Lars Sullivan has been granted his release because of reported anxiety issues.

Monday Night
RAW
The night after Mania episode of Monday Night RAW kicked off with a promo from the newly crowned WWE RAW Women’s Champion the “Man” Becky Lynch. Who promised to be a fighting champion and take on any and all comers. She was cut off by the arrival of the Riot Squad who wasted little time in attacking her which brought out the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions the Boss & Hug Connection who evened the odds. The ensuing brawl was eventually broken up by a combination of security and refs and RAW GM Stephanie McMahon who announced that the six women would face off in the main event with all the titles on the line.

Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder(c) V The Revival
The first match of the night was a WrestleMania rematch but with the roles of champions and challengers reversed. It didn’t matter though as the result was a repeat of the previous match with Hawkins getting the pin only this time to retain the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships.
Winners & Still WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder

Back to back backstage segments took place the first saw Aleister Black and Ricochet agree to go their separate ways. The second saw the Divas of Doom talk about their intention to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after tonight's main event.

The trio of Triple H, RAW GM Stephanie McMahon and SD GM Shane McMahon made their way out to the ring. Stephanie started things off by stating that they were all thankful for her fathers influence over the WWE and would do their best to uphold his legacy going forward. Both HHH and Shane agreed and then HHH with that in mind he also promised their WWE would be bigger and better than ever before. Stephanie then went on to announce that she would be stepping down as RAW GM going forward and then introduced her successor Kurt Angle. The “Wrestling Machine” made his way out to the ring and then shook hands with all three of the other people in the ring who then left and headed to the back. Angle stated that he would make sure that the flagship of the WWE stayed afloat oh it’s true its damn true.

Post-Match
Gable told Roode to get in the ring and then yelled at him that he didn’t need him, not when he faced and beat Kurt Angle and definitely not now. Roode laughed and then slapped Gable across the face and then left the ring.

The newly crowned WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins came out to the ring to a massively positive reaction from the WWE Universe. He cut to the chase and stated that he would defend his new championship as the “Beast Slayer” every week in an open challenge format. He finished by saying to borrow a quote from one of his best rivals if you want some come get some.

WWE Universal Championship

Seth Rollins(c) V Sami Zayn
This was one hell of a penultimate match as the “Beast Slayer” attempted to retain his newly won championship against the “InZayn” Sami Zayn. These two superstars went back and forth for about twenty five minutes but in the end Rollins would have to pull out his old ROH finisher God’s Last Gift to put Zayn down for the three count.
Winner & Still WWE Universal Champion: Seth Rollins

Post-Match
Rollins helped Zayn up and they hugged.

Commercial

WWE RAW Women’s & WWE Women’s Tag Tag Team Championships
Becky Lynch & Boss & Hug Connection(c) V The Riot Squad

The night ended much like it began with a chaotic six woman brawl which began on the ramp and then continued to the ringside area and finally into the squared circle itself. The conclusion of the match came about when Bayley got the better of Liv Morgan and hit the Belly to Bayley for the pin.
Winners & Still WWE RAW Women’s & WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Becky Lynch & Boss & Hug Co

Post-Match
The champions left the ring while Logan checked on Morgan and Riot, who was at ringside, grabbed a steel chair and entered the ring. AND SHOCKINGLY LAID OUT BOTH LOGAN AND MORGAN and then left through the crowd.

I was at Wrestlemania 35, so it’s hard for me to remember that you changed the results of that show. But I like some of the stuff you did, like Seth being a fighting champion and the main event being a winner takes all match. Gable also should’ve been the one to retire Angle, so I like that too.

I’ll be reading more of these.

Friday Night
Smackdown

The post-Mania of Friday Night Smackdown opened with SD GM Shane McMahon in the ring for a promo. There was a table set up with the WWE US and WWE SD Tag Team Championships on it. McMahon bragged about beating the Miz and proving what he knew to be true and that he was thankful that Miz wasn’t taking up a spot on his brand anymore. He then went on to say that he had plans for the titles behind him for the WWE US Championship; there would be a six way elimination to crown a new champion. The new WWE SD Tag Team Champions would be crowned in a three way tag team match.

While two thirds of teams involved were made up of established teams the third team was made up of industry veterans in the forms of R-Truth and Shelton Benjamin collectively known as the Golden Standard Truth. The New Day and the Hardys controlled most of the match but in the end Benjamin and Truth hit a Leg Sweep/Lie Detector Combo on Woods for the pin.

In a backstage segment Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville made fun of Liv Morgan who was still showing signs of the beat down with a steel chair on RAW. They mocked her and told her that just because she is on a new brand that her luck wouldn’t change, Morgan said that she would get revenge on Riot one day but tonight she is gonna take out her anger on Rose.

The newly crowned WWE SD Women’s Champion Asuka came down to the ring and cut a short promo by yelling that NOBODY IS READY FOR ASUKA. She was cut off by Charlotte Flair who appeared on the titantron and stated that come Money in the Bank, Auska wouldn’t be ready for her, but Asuka said she had already proven that she is ready for Flair,

Winner & New WWE US Champion: Aleister Black

Backstage Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan barged into SD GM Shane McMahon’s office but before Bryan could get the chance to say a word McMahon cut him off. Shane said that he knew why they were there and he agreed with them that they should be outraged and could pick the time and the stipulation of the rematch for the WWE Championship. Bryan was taken aback by this but quickly gathered himself and stated that he wanted the match to take place next week in a 3 Stages of Hell Match.

Chad Gable V Randy Orton
Orton dominated in the penultimate match of the evening and looked to have it won after he attempted an RKO only for Gable to fight out of it at the last second. From here Gable was able to roll Orton up with a handful of tights for a shock win.
Winner: Chad Gable

The show was scheduled to end with a celebration of Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship win at WrestleMania 35 hosted by his stablemates Big E and Xavier Woods. It started off that way but the festivities came to a screaming halt when Kevin Owens made his way down to the ring. The “Prize Fighter” looked like he was going to congratulate Kingston but then kicked him in the balls and then hit a double clothesline on both E and Kingston. From here Owens beat on Kingston and then grabbed the WWE Championship in the middle of the mat and ended things by hitting a Pop-Up Powerbomb on Kingston onto the title belt.

So I know that I've used Liv Morgan since the attack from Riot on RAW but you won't be seeing Sarah Logan in that gimmick again I have plans for her but if you were wondering there is a reason she's not on tv atm

Holy hell can you imagine this match irl with no limits? Anyway this match is more of a star making performance for the challenger, more than a showcase of Rollins. The defending champion capitalized on the situation by attempting and hitting a Curb Stomp for the pin.

Phoenix said that herself and Neidhart were here to back Banks up if she needed it but also they were here to challenge Banks for a title shot. Banks said that she had an idea how about Phoenix faces off against Snuka later and the winner’s team would face her and Bayley at the Money in the Bank ppv?

AJ Styles V Rey Mysterio V The Miz V Samoa Joe V Cesaro

The main event kicked off with bodies flying from the ring as Cesaro and Joe cleared the ring of the other three superstars and then set to work to beat the crap out of each other. Cesaro came out on top and attempted to throw Joe out of the ring but the latter turned it into a suicide dive which floored Styles and Mysterio who had been brawling at ringside. Cesaro exited the ring and went to grab a ladder but was cut off by Miz who had been staying out of the action at ringside. Miz threw Cesaro into the steel steps and then entered the ring and set up the ladder and climbed up it and tried to unhook the contract. Suddenly Cedric Alexander came sprinting down to the ring and pulled Miz off the ladder and laid him out with the Lumbar Check and then headed to the back. Eventually Cesaro, Joe, Mysterio and Styles would enter the ring and there was a second ladder set up and Joe & Cesaro climbed up one while Styles and Mysterio climbed up the other. Both Mysterio and Styles would kick the other ladder over sending both Joe and Cesaro to the mat below then Styles and Mysterio brawled but in the end Styles unhooked the contract.

Smackdown GM Shane McMahon came out to the ring and cut a promo stating that the main event of the evening would be the WrestleMania rematch for the WWE Championship between Kofi Kingston(c) and Daniel Bryan in a two out of three falls match. He went on to say that he has allowed Bryan to choose the stipulations for two of the falls because it's only fair seeing as he is the former champion. This brought out the New Day who were obviously pissed at the fact that McMahon had given such an advantage to Bryan. However Kingston would prove that cooler heads prevail as he said he knew this game all too well as it was McMahon’s father who made his road to the title hell so he wouldn’t expect any less from Shane. McMahon told them to get out of the ring now or he would strip Kingston of the title for talking so rudely to him.

The future of the WWE Cruiserweight Championship has been revealed as it has been rebranded to be known as the WWE Jr Heavyweight Championship. The first champion would be crowned in a six pack match at Money in the Bank, but we wouldn't know who would compete in the match until the pppv
