For those who didn't catch it, my PC broke down and with WWE 2k19 being pretty much the only form of interactive entertainment I have right now, I started playing with it's Universe Mode. Out of that, this idea got born. A BTB based on the 2k19 Roster, in which many match outcomes will be decided by the game simulation.
This might not be formatted very well, since I do this all on my phone... sorry about this might end up being pretty messy looking.
I don't have a big backstory ready, but let's just imagine that after Wrestlemania 34 Vinnie Mac gone (even more) mad over negative backlash from the PPV and declared a “total WWE reboot“ being started. For the rest of April 2018, all RAW and Smackdown episodes were just highlight packages or shows about the most memorable moments in the company's history.
During that time Vince McMahon made loads of announcements, including that NXT will go back to being a true developemental part of the WWE machinery and instead ECW gets resurrected as a “third brand“ with Paul Heyman in the driver's seat, who immediately said on social media, that even with this ECW not being like the OG thing, he still guarantees that Wrestling fans going to be thrilled about it.
Also, to the surprise of everyone a fourth big weekly show called “Evolution“ will premiere. That show will feature only the females of the WWE roster.
On Saturday, April 28th 2018, WWE airs a “WWE Draft Special“ on their network, to start the new era, with the first five rounds of the draft being made during the show. Since all titles were vacated in the weeks following Wrestlemania 34, on that Draft Special, we will see a new US and Intercontinental Champion being crowned, as well as one Tag Team becoming the champions of their respected Brand.

Saturday, April 28th, 2018 WWE Draft Special
@ the Amway Center in Orlando, FL
The show starts with a short Vince McMahon promo in which he explained a bit how the Draft will work. The very first round will determine the Main Event and the Opener of the Special. Both winners of those two Triple Threat matches are going to have a future World Title match in the bag.
Vince then opens the draft with Roman Reigns for RAW. Shane McMahon comes out and announces that he actually actually got himself a 50/50 partner for handling Smackdown and that partner will reveal himself to pick for SD in the second round. Shane then picks Brock Lesnar.
Then it's Paul Heymans turn and he chooses AJ Styles for ECW. These three will battle in tonights Main Event.
After that it's back to Vince who picks Randy Orton. Smackdown gets Seth Rollins and Heyman takes Daniel Bryan, to complete the first round and the upcoming opening bout.
World Title Opportunity Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins vs. Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan has the victory in his hands after hitting Seth with the Running Knee, but then gets caught off guard by an RKO out of nowhere and Orton capitalizes from it to win the match by pinfall.
A short interview segment with Roman Reigns follows. He talks briefly about his loss against Lesnar at Wrestlemania 34 and that he'll get his revenge in tonight's Main Event. Reigns then states that RAW is now his new yard and anyone who wants to be at the top of the pile will have to go through him.
The second draft round is next and in this round Tag Teams/Stables will be picked. The six teams will then send one member out for a six men over the top rope Battle Royal for either the RAW, Smackdown or ECW Tag Team titles. Paul Heyman starts this time and he chooses the Authors of Pain. Then Shane's partner is revealed to be Triple H, who picks Undisputed Era for the blue brand. The New Day is then drafted by Vince, before Heyman continues this round with picking the Bludgeon Brothers. Smackdown's next pick are The Usos and Vince closes this round with getting The Revival for RAW.
RAW/Smackdown/ECW Tag Team Championship Battle Royale Akam vs. Adam Cole vs. Big E vs. Harper vs. Jimmy Uso vs. Dash Wilder
This one starts with a shocker, because Akam eliminates Big E after about a minute. A couple of minutes later Adam Cole can evade a Superkick by Jimmy Uso and instead Superkicks Jimmy out of the match. On the other side of the ring Wilder is able to evade elimination by pulling down the top rope, so Harper falls to the outside. Cole and Wilder start working together against Akam, but Wilder soon turns on Cole and Akam eliminates Cole. After that Dash tries his best to get Akam over the top rope, but in the end Akam stands tall and wins the ECW Tag Team titles for the Authors of Pain.
The third round will be done backstage and Smackdown is supposed to start, but we see a slightly sour Brock Lesnar talking to Shane. He says that he doesn't care for wrestling tonight, since he won at Wrestlemania to retain his WWE Universal title and therefore he should still wear the belt around his waist. Triple H chimes in and pretty much tells Brock to focus on tonight's Main Event, instead of bitching about the vacated Universal Title and guarantees Lesnar then, that they can talk about the title situation later. Brock isn't happy about it, but he leaves the room.
With the air clear the third round can begin. The workers picked in this round will immediately compete in a six men ladder match to crown a new Intercontinental champion. Shane starts with Shinsuke Nakamura, while Vince picks Kevin Owens. Paul Heyman then takes Dean Ambrose, before Triple H announces that Finn Bálor comes to the blue brand. Vince seems pretty pissed at that and he picks Chris Jericho. Heyman concludes this round with naming Samoa Joe as his next pick.
Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Finn Bálor vs. Chris Jericho vs. Samoa Joe
The usual WWE Ladder Match chaos happens here with everyone having their hands at the title at least once during the match. Owens and Ambrose battled on the ladder at the end of the match and Owens already looked like the winner, when Chris Jericho pulled him off it for a Codebreaker. With everyone being laid out after that, Jericho snatches the belt to become a ten time WWE Intercontinental champion.
AJ Styles has a short interview then. He talks about how he isn't like Reigns, who gets every rocket strapped to his back from the owner of the company, or like Lesnar who does nothing more than whine about losing his title due to what happened over the last few weeks. Styles then addresses Brock directly and reminds us, that he lost the WWE title the same way, after retaining it against Nakamura at WM and that he hasn't whined or bitched about it once. Instead AJ is going to do what he always did and that is making the show he is on simply... "phenomenal".
The fourth draft round is going to be different, since the US title is now in a six men Gauntlet Match on the line and the picks will be made during it. The first two participants are picked by Heyman and Vince and we are going to see the end of The Bar.
United States Championship Gauntlet Match Cesaro vs. Sheamus vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ???
After a friendly fist bump Cesaro and Sheamus going at it and leave everything in the Ring. At the end it's Sheamus, who caughts Cesaro with the Brogue Kick and pins him.
Triple H appears on the Titantron and sends Sami Zayn into the match. Zayn's music starts playing and Sheamus already waits for him, but Sami surprises the Irish by coming through the audience. Zayn rolls Sheamus up and with his feet on the ropes he can actually put him away. Sheamus is pissed, while Sami immediately leaves the ring to laugh and celebrate.
Then the second ECW participant gets revealed by Heyman and it's the "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne. Zayn tries to steal another victory, but Dunne has his number tonight and pins Sami after about seven minutes.
The next pick is Drew McIntyre, who'll join RAW in the future. Dunne and Drew have a hell of a fight in and around the ring, but shortly after Drew misses Dunne in the corner and hits the post, the Bruiserweight is able to put McIntyre away.
Shane McMahon then declares that all future Smackdown shows will fall on Rusev Day and under the loud chants of the Orlando audience the Bulgarian makes his way to the ring.
Even though he's been in this match for a while, Dunne can come back after Rusev's first flurry of dominant offense. It turns into a back and forth and after a nearfall firework it's actually Pete Dunne who can fell a third opponent and bring the United States Championship to ECW.
The last round of the night follows, with the picked guys getting paired up for a Triple Threat Tornado Tag match. RAW starts the round with Braun Strowman, then Shane chooses Bray Wyatt and Heyman takes Dolph Ziggler. Vince's last pick of the night is Andrade. For the blue brand it's Aleister Black, picked by Triple H and Paul Heyman takes, for the tenth ECW pick of the night, Tye Dillinger.
Triple Threat Tornado Tag Braun Strowman & Andrade Almas vs. Bray Wyatt & Aleister Black vs. Dolph Ziggler & Tye Dillinger
Another chaotic match. Aleister and Wyatt seem to get along the best, especially when they take out Strowman together. Dolph and Andrade fight against them then, but the Smackdown duo also takes care of them. Suddenly Bray goes for Sister Abigail against Black, but Aleister counters and drops Bray. That moment leads to Dillinger surprising Black with the Perfect Ten and winning this match.
Before the Main Event we are once more backstage, where an infuriated Miz seems to make his exit. An Interviewer follows him and tries to get a word. Miz just turns around, when he's halfway through a door and says that "this company disrespected me for the last time. Over thirty men got picked tonight, but not me? I'm the god damn, freaking Miz. The most entertaining, must-see superstar the WWE has ever seen. This is the biggest travesty in the history of this industry. I am done." And with that Miz slams the door behind him.
World Title Opportunity Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar vs. AJ Styles
Not surprisingly Roman and Brock go at each other, while AJ plays it a bit smarter. The finish sees Lesnar killing Reigns with a F5, but Styles hits Brock with the Phenomenal Forearm immediately afterwards and Lesnar falls through the ropes to the outside. Styles pins Roman and wins the Main Event.
*All results, eliminations and similar things were decided by the game simulation
