Those would just be what people couldn't have as normal moves, not finishers.that's kind of breaking the point again of what I said in my other post
That would be way too much though. People need to fill up a lot of slots and having each CAW to have a complete original moveset? That wouldn't work at all since after say 10 or 15 people what moves would be left to use? Those would just be what people couldn't have as normal moves, not finishers.
Literally any move that isn't a finisher. My current moveset doesn't have other people's finishers in and I'm very happy with it.That would be way too much though. How isn't there a 2k17 move wishlist thread. I mean it's basically too late at this point but so many thiiiings...List of Superkicks
- Standing Superkick
- Running Superkick
- Kneeling Superkick (Avada Kedavra)
- Corner Superkick
Superkicks I want to see added in
- Tree of Woe Superkick
- Superkick over the barricade (Goes into crowd fighting)
Everyone's talking about Superkicks so meh
What do you mean by this part specifically? This confused me.It locks people in certain exchange that aren't particularly helpful and honestly
I think that uploading caw's to CC is a good idea, it's a good way to check moves and attributes/skills/abilities and if anything is out of place it can be sorted out then and not in the middle of the league.
Ultimately, asking them to upload is the best thing we can do, we have to assume good intent that they're not going to bother changing it later. And if they change moves then we have proof of the moveset they claimed to have, and if they change their stats, their overall will go up.The glaring flaw in this plan is that someone could upload their CAW, then proceed to edit their stats and movesets after they upload. I like to have the benefit of the doubt, but you just can't trust people.
So much yaaaaaaaas. This was part of what caused the superkick debate (@CiV was already using it, but not in the playstation league. He happened to get to the 2k16 signup thread before me which was why I had to negotiate with him to use my own finisher), and it means that if current members share finishers (or have people's finishers in their movesets) we could get some of those debates out of the way before 2k17 even starts.Maybe instead of waiting for people to sign up with the moves, we could claim finishers prior to signing up. Ex. Yellur could 'claim' the Ravishing Neckbreaker. Scat can 'claim' the Book End. I can 'claim' Falcon Arrow 2. The established guys get to keep their established moves, and all the new people can still choose.

I agree with limiting the finishers. When we did it in 2k16, the only conflict was the superkick and SSP, which were both resolved pretty quickly. And this was when we had 20+ people in the league. The argument of "All the good moves being gone" is just wrong, cause there are loads of good animations in 2k16, and 2k17 will add even more.

Last thing that's needed is a bunch of generic CM Phil clones claiming the Pop-up powerbomb and curbstomp cause "they're the only good animations"

Just giving my $0.02I already responded to the claiming finishers idea.
"I can't be making polls for every concern. I'm always going to have people disagreeing with some of my decisions and I think this will be one of them. Was this really a big issue this year? What if say Buster Gates signs up and someone is using his neck breaker? Buster is perfect for that move but someone got there before him.....Why should I say no to Yellow for wanting to use that move? Why should I say no to you when someone is using the superkick or a different move you want? Having a first come gets that finisher system imo isn't the best option and really would make it harder for new people. I was waiting days to sign up to the PS4 league since all the finishers I wanted to use were already unlisted since someone else called for it. Is it really the biggest deal if one more person is using the same move? It's the character that makes the move. I think Rogue when I see superkick or I think Vega when I see the pedigree."
"I can't be making polls for every problem. I made 5 polls to make sure the league had a good say on everything but I'm the GM for a reason I need to make decisions based on what I think is the best direction for the league. I still 100% think doing this would cause more problems than anything else for new members. The first month would be great but then some person would sign up when they see the league being advertised on Reddit or something and then be completely blown away with the amount of finishers that are already taken. This idea really isn't user friendly for the league and considering we didn't have any reports of anyone being beyond pissed that they saw someone using their sig/fin as a normal move or whatever. The poll would most likely go in your favor since it's members that are already signed up and know the league well. I as the GM need to think beyond that and think about those new members who want to join the site and league but end up being inactive since they can't find a move they like. Also many people like to change their finishers around and this would also mess with that. I did think long and hard about this but I'm going to say no due to the fact that new members would find it a lot harder to sign up like I did when I signed up to the PS4 league for the last month."
I continue to have the same thoughts of these posts.
