start of matches look dumb as fuck, like I said, running/irish whip fest and bigish moves are still being done off whips so I don't really see the point. Again should retuned what is a in the quick grapple category. online will look like that, strikes and grapples off whip till they can standard grapple.

Mechanically it seems similar to the last games, just slower. I can't tell if that's going to persistently annoy me or if I'll get used to it. The updated graphics and the re-scaled ring size are very authentic though. I'll probably start getting more hyped as the release gets closer but once again I probably won't buy it on day one.

Watching that video, you could tell the guy was just button mashing. Esp the way the tutorial was there to explain the chain grappling system and he just skipped thru it. The ring looks fantastic and the game is pretty. The new animations are really noticeable, especially in Orton's corner kicks. I'm interested to see where it goes and actually getting a vid of gameplay that isn't some vag mashing buttons and shows game flow as it was intended.

How does that work gameplay wise exactly? It's a cool realistic animation, but can you like choose to pin from the ground or something now? Because if you're up and press pin and then end up on the ground crawling, that would look weird.

When you run out of stamina after hitting a finisher, then you have to crawl and pin.

I read an article on IGN about all the cool little things theyve added, I'll try find.

I do like the sound of these details but I think this games have passed me by. I get frustrated too quickly learnin' new things in video games and I just end up with a pile of broken controllers. I'll stick to Madden (and NCAA Football IF they fuckin' revamp the series) until they update it too far and I can sit back in my rocker chair talkin' about the glory days of gamin'.
