Pretty much. Stuff like screenshots and what not...don't know why anyone would expect much stuff before by this point :hm:

Last year WWE 2k14 came out at around the same time as this is coming out and had a trailer with gameplay in June. We're in August and still nothing for this.

I know about them using the same mo-cap/ecomotion as the nba 2k games, putting more effort into the commentary and game in general. So that's why it's odd there isn't anything yet. You think it would of been shown off and got in with the e3 hype back in June like every other game but apparently not.

2k14 was the last THQ game really, 2k finished it off. This is the first 2K game imo, and they are doing things different when it comes to marketing is all. Like pairing up with IGN again and giving them exclusive reveals

when a game releases in october and its august and not one gameplay screenshot has been theres a problem.the last time this happened was madden 25 for ps4/xbone which was basically an upscalled version of the ps3/360 game.

No, It's not a problem. For a big release you're trying to build hype for, it might be, but Wrestling games are a niche market. Your sales are pretty consistent every year. It's a sports title. There's very little sway one way or another.

Also, I used to work with THQ as a Community leader from the release of Smackdown vs Raw 2011 until a bit before WWE 13 released. 2K, VC and Yukes are on the same path that the series has been on for years. The WWE started making Summerslam the Summer Wrestlemania for 3-4 years now, being the only other PPV with an Axxess weekend. They made one of the biggest Axxess features the Roster Reveal... AFTER Summerslam, you start getting the goods on new features, any upgrades and such.

The last time they had a major graphical upgrade, they din't have this Summerslam stuff in place. I'm gonna assume we're gonna get some in-game action during Axxess.

And a career mode? Does this mean, you have to go to rent-a-car and having to pay for wrestling licences? Book plane tickets and shake everyones hand when you get to the arena and find out you might not even be on the show?
