At NXT New Year’s Evil the “Deranged” Blair Davenport cashed in the championship opportunity she earned at NXT Deadline in 2023.

She would go on to not only win the match but as a result of the victory she became the new NXT Women’s Champion.

The now former champion, Valkyria took to the ring on an episode of NXT and announced that she would see Davenport at Vengeance Day.​

NXT NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP
OBA FEMI(C) VS DRAGON LEE
The third match announced for the 2024 edition of the NXT Vengeance Day PLE. Regarded the NXT North American Championship, and the two male superstars involved in the match. Were the defending and newly crowned champion the “Alpha Male” Oba Femi(c). And the man he defeated to capture the title in the first place Dragon Lee.

D’ANGELO FAMILY(C) VS CHASE U VS GALLUS
NXT GM Ava took to the ring to announce a NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT Vengeance Day. After Duke Hudson of Chase U beat one half of the champions, Tony D’Angelo in singles action. And after Joe Coffey beat Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo in another single’s match on an episode of NXT. Ava had decided that this warranted both teams a title match and made it official for the event. ​

NO DQ AND THE FINAL OF 2024 DRTTC
Two more matches were added to the NXT Vengeance Day card by NXT GM Ava.

The first was a one on one no dq match between two men to put an end to their feud. The duo of Joe Gacy and Dijak had been feuding since late 2023 and it was making Ava’s job harder than it needed to be.

Finally the second and final match was the final of the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. As the duo of Baron Corbin & Bron Breaker aka the Wolf Dogs and the team of Axiom and Nathan Frazer faced off.​

Wolf Dogs beat the Supersonic Duo to win the final of the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Pre-recorded promos from NXT Tag Team Champions D’Angelo Family(c), Chase U and Gallus aired.
Chase U with Andre Chase & Thea Hail beat the D’Angelo Family(c) and Gallus with Wolfgang. To become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.
A split screen showed NXT Women’s Champion Blair Davenport(c) and Lyra Valkyria preparing for their match.
“Alpha Male” Oba Femi(c) beat Dragon Lee by way of pinfall. To retain the NXT North American Championship.

NXT Stand & Deliver was announced for the 6th of April 2024.
Trick Williams(c) beat Carmelo Hayes via the Trick Shot to retain the NXT Championship. As a result of this loss, Hayes has to leave NXT. ​

The WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth premium live event was announced for the 24th of February 2024. It would take place at the Optus Stadium in Perth WA.​

It was announced that the Women’s World Championship from Monday Night RAW would be contested in the main event. As two female superstars from Australia would face off. The first is the current reigning and defending champion and member of Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley(c) and the second, Indi Hartwell.​

BRONSON REED VS CM PUNK VS DREW MCINTYRE VS JEY USO VS KOFI KINGSTON VS SHINSUKE NAKAMURA
The second match announced for the event was an Elimination Chamber match. Where the winner of the match would challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL. Bronson Reed beat Braun Strowman, Cm Punk beat Chad Gable and Drew McIntyre beat Ricochet. The final three participants were revealed to be Jey Uso who beat The Miz, Kofi Kingston who beat Apollo Crews and Shinsuke Nakamura who beat Sami Zayn. ​

WWE UNDISPUTED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
THE JUDGMENT DAY(C) VS AWESOME TRUTH
R-Truth had been unintentionally getting on the nerves of the stable known as The Judgment Day by thinking he was part of the group. This eventually led to the group attacking him on back to back episodes of Monday Night RAW. During the second consecutive attack a chair wielding Miz would make the save by clearing the ring of the group. The Miz stated he had talked to RAW GM Adam Pearce and he has agreed to the reunited Awesome Truth would challenge TJD at Elimination Chamber for the gold.​

RAW GM Adam Pearce announced that a second Elimination Chamber match would take place at the PLE. This time around it would be a women’s division match where the winner would challenge for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania XL. Becky Lynch beat Candice LeRae, Ivy Nile beat Chelsea Green and Liv Morgan beat Katana Chance to qualify. Then Piper Niven beat Kayden Carter, Tegan Nox beat Natalya and Zoey Stark beat Nia Jax to complete the field of competition​

Liv Morgan beat Becky Lynch, Ivy Nile, Piper Niven, Tegan Nox and Zoey Stark. In an Elimination Chamber match to become the N1C to the WWC.
Pre-recorded promos from the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Judgment Day(c) and the Awesome Truth aired.
The Judgment Day with the rest of the group(c) beat the Awesome Truth to retain the WWE UTTC. Damian Priest got the win for his team by hitting the South of Heaven on R-Truth.
NXT Stand & Deliver was announced for the 6th of April 2024.
The Unholy Union defeated Damage CTRL(c) to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Former DC member Bayley came out and distracted the champions.
Pre-recorded promos from Bronson Reed, Cm Punk, Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso, Kofi Kingston and Shinsuke Nakamura aired.
Cm Punk beat Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso, Kofi Kingston and Shinsuke Nakamura to become the N1C to the WHC. It should be noted that Jey Uso was attacked by his brothers Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.
WrestleMania XL Night One and Night Two were confirmed to take place on the 6th and 7th of April.
