[The Uso’s come to the ring and talk about winning The Bloodline Civil War match. They call Reigns and Solo to the ring to acknowledge them. Reigns, Solo and Heyman come to the ring. Reigns says he won’t acknowledge Jey and Jimmy and says they double teamed him. He says he doesn’t respect that. Reigns says he’s focusing on getting his WWE Championship back now. The Uso’s said since they pinned Reigns, they should be getting a shot at the WWE Championship. Rhodes’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Cody says Reigns is deserving of his rematch at the WWE Championship and Jey is deserving of another WWE Championship opportunity for pinning Roman. Pearce comes to the stage and says at SummerSlam it will be a triple threat match for the WWE Championship, Rhodes versus Reigns versus Jey. Jimmy looks on as he’s not included in the match.]

Butch def. Ridge Holland [Sheamus is ringside for the match. Butch used dirty tactics to win the match. Sheamus looks on as Butch backs up the ramp staring back at The Brawling Brutes.]

[Backstage, Nox meets with Pearce about her and Shotzi’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match. Pearce says Shotzi still can’t compete yet, but if she wants to find another partner tonight she can have her championship match tonight. Nox says she would rather wait for Shotzi to come back and win it with her. Shayna and Rousey walk in and tease Nox. Nox says she’ll kick either one of their asses tonight. Pearce says not tonight as Shayna and Rousey will be defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against The Unholy Union tonight. Shayna and Rousey say they don’t care as they walk away.]

[Owens and Sami came to the ring and called out Pretty Deadly for costing them the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship at Money in the Bank. Prince and Wilson come walking off with mics and say Owens and Sami cost them the championship a few weeks back so they’re even. Owens and Sami tell Prince and Wilson they beat them, they didn’t get involved in their championship match. Owens and Sami tell Prince and Wilson to get in the ring so they can kick their ass. Prince and Wilson get closer to the ring and then back up the ramp declining to enter. Owens and Sami leave the ring and go after Pretty Deadly and the two teams fight on the ramp before backstage crew come out and break things up.]

Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey © vs. The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) ended in a no contest in a Tag Team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship [During the match, all four women entered the ring and the match broke down before the ref called for the bell. Post-match, Nox came to the ring and laid out Shayna and Rousey. The Unholy Union backed out of the ring as Nox stood tall looking at Shayna and Rousey.]

[AJ came to the ring and called out Gunther. Gunther came to the ring. AJ told Gunther he was the better man at Money in the Bank and offered to shake his hand. Gunther looked at AJ’s hand and laughed. Gunther says he’ll pass and that AJ wasn’t good enough to beat him. Gunther says he still wants to know who thinks they can beat him for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Gunther leaves the ring as AJ looks on.]

[Rick Boogs interviews backstage and says maybe he’ll get his opportunity at the WWE Intercontinental Championship now when Legado Del Fantasma approaches. Escobar tells Boogs he wants the WWE Intercontinental Championship as well and if Boogs wants a shot at it he has to go through him. Legado Del Fantasma walk off as Boogs looks on.]

Raquel Rodriguez © def. Aliyah in a Singles match for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship [Post-match, Raquel and Aliyah hug as Raquel praises Aliyah for a good match.]

[Theory starts the show by coming to the ring and saying Riddle’s cash in will be the worst cash-in of all-time. He says he’s going to embarrass Riddle at SummerSlam. Riddle comes to the ring. Riddle says he’s going into SummerSlam with his fans. He tells Riddle they’re walking into SummerSlam with the Money in the Bank briefcase and walking out the new World Heavyweight Champion. Theory gets in Riddle’s face and the two mouth at each other.]

Indus Sher (Sanga and Veer) (w/Mahal and Shanky) def. Los Lotharios (Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza) [Post-match, Mahal says Indus Sher is the most dominant faction in the WWE and at SummerSlam they will be taking the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship from The Judgment Day.]

Otis (w/Maxxine Dupri) def. The Miz via DQ [During the match, The Miz hit Otis in the head with a chair. Post-match, Miz hit The Skull Crushing Finale on Otis, face first onto the chair. Maxxine checked on Otis as Miz stood tall in the ring.]

[Shinsuke is backstage in a dark red tinted room speaking Japanese. Shinsuke seems off in his message for someone.]

JD McDonagh (w/Finn Balor) def. Ricochet [During the match, Balor would distract the ref, as Liv would come to the ring and cost Ricochet the match. Post-match, Balor and JD were all smiles at Liv.]

The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) (w/Valhalla) def. DIY (Johnny Gargano and Ciampa) [Post-matc, DIY attacked The Viking Raiders. Candice LeRae came to the ring and attacked Valhalla. DIY and LeRae looked pleased as they backed up the ramp looking back at Erik, Ivar and Valhalla.]

[Odyssey interviews backstage and says he’s hungry and wants to win gold on Raw. Strowman approaches Odyssey and says he wants to get back on track and win gold again too. Strowman says how about the two of them meet in the ring about it next week. Odyssey agrees.]

IYO Sky (w/Damage CTRL) def. Alexa Bliss [Before the match, IYO and Dakota confront Bayley about last week’s match. They tell her to stay in the back for IYO’s match if she’s going to cost them matches. IYO and Dakota walk off as Bayley looks on. During the match, Bayley comes ringside and tries to stop IYO and Dakota’s dirty tactics. The ref gets distracted by Bayley and Dakota arguing on the outside, while IYO uses a dirty tactic on Alexa for the pin. Post-match, IYO and Dakota celebrate up the ramp, as Bayley slowly trails behind as she looks on.]

Seth Rollins © def. Chad Gable in a non-title match [Post-match, Bronson attacks Rollins from behind and goes up top and hits him with a Tsunami. Broson grabs the WWE United States Championship and raises it in the air as he stands over Rollins.]

Rick Boogs def. Santos Escobar via DQ [During the match, Legado Del Fantasma jumped Boogs. Post-match, Escobar had Legado Del Fantasma stand Boogs up as he told him he’s never win the WWE Intercontinental Championship and that it was his before laying him out. Legado Del Fantasma stood tall over Boogs.]

[We get a promo from Shayna and Rousey from earlier in the day. Shayna and Rousey say they hope Shotzi’s arm is good enough to compete the next time they come to Smackdown. They tell The Unholy Union they’ll see them again. They tell Nox when they see her again, they’ll break her arm just like Shotzi’s.]

[Sheamus is backstage looking for Butch when Butch surprise attacks him with a shillelagh, dropping him to the floor. Holland comes to check on Sheamus.]

Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) def. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn [Before the match, Pretty Deadly met with Pearce about getting a WWE Smackdown Tag Team opportunity. Pearce says Owens and Zayn are owed a rematch since they cost them their match at Money in the Bank, but if they can beat Owens and Zayn tonight, he’ll add them to the match. The Street Profits were on commentary. During the match, Pretty Deadly used cheap tactics for the win.]

[Karrion Kross is with Scarlett backstage. Kross cuts a promo on Rey and talks about Dominik and retiring Rey. Kross says he’s coming for Rey.]

Bobby Lashley def. LA Knight in a #1 contenders match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship match [Earlier in the night, Lashley came to the ring and said Gunther wants to know who can beat him for his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Lashley said it’s him. Lashley called out Gunther. Imperium came to the ring. Gunther told Lashley that he’s well accomplished in his career and is quite impressive, but he’s no comparison to him. Gunther gets ready to accept Lashley’s challenge when LA Knight’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Knight says before Gunther starts handing out championship opportunities, he’d like to go one-on-one with Bobby Lashley to determine who should get the next shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Gunther says fine by him and as he and Imperium leave the ring.]

Bianca Belair def. Asuka in a #1 contenders match for the the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championshp [Earlier in the night, Bianca comes to the ring and says others have had their turn and now she’s ready to get her opportunity at the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship. Asuka’s music hits and she comes to the ring. Asuka tells Bianca the two of them didn’t face off one-on-one last time to determine who got a WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship opportunity and challenges Bianca to a match. Bianca tells Asuka she’s going to beat her and then she’s going to SummerSlam and taking her WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship from Raquel like only the E.S.T.]

[We go backstage and see that Jimmy has been laid out. Jey comes to check on him and calls for help. Solo then approaches and attacks Jey before laying him out with a Samoan Spike. Heyman approaches and leans over Jey and says a message from the Tribal Chief as he and Solo walk off.]

Damage CTRL (IYO Sky and Dakota Kai) (w/Bayley) in a #1 contenders match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship [During the match, Damage CTRL try to use cheap tactics, but Bayley talks to them about not doing so. While Bayley and IYO argue on the outside, Dakota was distracted and gets pinned by Chelsea. Post-match, Green and Niven are ecstatic as they celebrate up the ramp, while IYO and Dakota continue to yell at Bayley.]

Odyssey Jones def. Braun Strowman

[Trish comes to the ring and talks about paving the way for the women in the locker room and for people like Becky. Trish says Raw is her show and Becky can’t compare to her. Trish talks about Becky’s daughter when Becky’s music hits. Becky comes out with a mic and tells Trish to shut her mouth. Becky tells Trish not to talk about her daughter. Trish tells Becky she thinks she runs the WWE women’s division, but she is the WWE women’s division. Trish and Becky get forehead to forehead, before the two start trading blows. Trish lays Becky out with a Chick Kick and stands tall over her.]

[Shinsuke is backstage in a dark red tinted room speaking Japanese. Shinsuke seems off in his message for someone.]

[We get a video package of how dominant Indus Sher has been since their Raw debut.]

Finn Balor (w/JD McDonagh) def. Akira Tozawa [During the match, Liv approaches Dominik and tells him like she helped JD last week, she’d help him plus more. Liv gets flirty with Dominik. Priest tells Dominik, Rhea isn’t going to be happy with him when she gets back and besides they need to focus on Indus Sher at SummerSlam.]

[Otis and Maxxine are looking for The Miz backstage when Miz blindsides Otis and slams him some backstage equipment. The equipment falls onto Otis and Maxxine checks on him. Miz tells Otis he’s a nobody and walks off. Backstage crew come to check on Otis.]

Bronson Reed def. Apollo Crews via DQ [During the match, Rollins came to the ring and attacked Reed. Rollins went for a Curb Stomp, but Bronson rolled out of the ring and headed to the back. Rollins yelled at Bronson.]

Matt Riddle def. Chad Gable [Post-match, Theory enters the ring behind Riddle and lays him out. Theory stands tall over Riddle with the World Heavyweight Championship in the air.]

Bobby Lashley def. Dolph Ziggler [Post-match, Imperium came to the ring and attacked Lashley. Imperium stood Lashley up for Gunther, but AJ came to the ring for the save and hit The Phenomenal Elbow on Giovanni as Gunther and Ludwig got out of the way. AJ and Lashley looked at each other after.]

[Holland is with Sheamus as he interviews in the back about Butch. Butch surprise attacks Sheamus again with a shillelagh. Holland checks on Sheamus as Butch walks off.]

Rick Boogs def. Santos Escobar (w/Legado Del Fantasma) via DQ [Before the match, Benjamin and Alexander met with Boogs and told him if he needed their help out there tonight they’d be there. Boogs thanked them. During the match, Legado Del Fantasma attacked Boogs. Post-match, Benjamin and Alexander came to the ring for the save.]

[The Street Profits come to the ring and talk about having to defend their WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship against Owens, Sami and Pretty Deadly. They say it doesn’t matter because they’re them and they’re walking into SummerSlam the champs and out of SummerSlam the champs. The Street Profits dance as their music played before getting attacked from behind by Pretty Deadly. Prince and Wilson raise the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship in the air as they stand over The Street Profits.]

Rey Mysterio def. Cameron Grimes [Earlier in the night, Rey interviews and says he didn’t appreciate Kross talking about his family and disrespecting him. Rey says he has a match with Grimes tonight, but if Kross wants to fight he’ll meet him in the ring. Post-match, Kross and Scarlett come to the ring as Kross puts Rey in the Kross Jacket. Rey passes out as the ref tries to get Kross to break the hold. Kross finally breaks the hold and leans over Rey and tells him he’s going to end his career.]

[Nox met with Pearce in the back and asked for a match against Shayna. Pearce tells Nox it’s not a good idea. The Unholy Union walk in and tell Nox if she wants a fight they’ll fight her. Nox says she’ll fight them. Pearce tells Nox to find a partner and they’ll have a match next week.]

Bianca Belair def. Natalya [Raquel was on commentary. Post-match, Raquel entered the ring and met Bianca in the middle of the ring. Bianca pointed at the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship and signaled it being around her waist.]

[Jey comes to the ring and talks about Jimmy and how they were growing up. Jey says he’s sad and mad about Jimmy getting attacked. Jey says he’s mad at Solo for attacking Jimmy and has no respect for Roman for sending Solo after Jimmy. Heyman comes to the ring with Solo. Heyman introduces himself and Solo. Heyman tells Jey it’s his fault Jimmy is at home. Solo asks for the microphone. Solo tells Jey what happened to Jimmy is Jey’s fault. Solo drops the mic and gets face to face with Solo before the two start exchanging blows. Jey hits Solo with a superkick and sends him to the outside. Jey turns to Heyman. Reigns hits Jey from behind. Reigns tells Heyman to grab a chair and Jey takes Reigns down. Solo gets in the ring and attacks Jey. Heyman gets in the ring with a chair and hands it to Reigns. Solo holds Jey up for Reigns when Rhodes’ music hits and he comes to the ring. Solo goes after Cody, but Cody drops him. Reigns tries to hit Cody with the chair, but misses. Cody sends Reigns out of the ring. The Bloodline look on pissed as Cody stands looking back at The Bloodline. Jey gets to his feet and he and Cody look at each other while looking back at The Bloodline.]

Theory says Riddle is a fluke and at SummerSlam he’s going to crush his dreams. Riddle’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Riddle tells Theory he earned his opportunities and his briefcase, he wasn’t hand picked like him. Riddle tells Theory at SummerSlam he’s going kick his ass and take the World Heavyweight Championship. Theory gets in Riddle’s face as the two mouth at each other before Theory gives Riddle a shoulder bump as he leaves the ring.]

Bayley (w/Damage CTRL) def. Indi Hartwell [During the match, IYO and Dakota attacked Indi as Bayley told them not to. Bayley got in their faces and told them to go to the back as they would back off. Post-match, as Bayley was shaking Indi’s hand, IYO and Dakota attacked Bayley. IYO and Dakota then attacked Indi and sent her outside the ring. IYO and Dakota would then hit their finishers on Bayley, before standing tall over her.]

[We get a taped promo of Xia Li talking about winning the Money in the Bank briefcase being the biggest opportunity of her career. She says she plans to face all competition before and after she becomes world champion.]

Indus Sher (Sanga and Veer) (w/Mahal and Shanky) def. Maximum Male Models (Mace and Mansoor) [Post-match, Indus Sher attack Mace and Mansoor as The Judgment Day’s music hits and they walk to the ring. The Judgment Day enter the ring as stand across from Indus Sher as Dominik and Priest stare-off with Sanga and Veer.]

[We see Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark talking backstage.]

Otis (w/Maxxine) def. The Miz [Miz tried to cheat and leave the ring, but Otis overcame him and got the pinfall.]

Chelsea Green and Piper Niven def. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter [Backstage before the match, Green and Niven were talking about their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship opportunity. Katana and Kayden approached them and told them they got a cheap win to get their opportunity. Green and Niven told them they want their championship opportunity, but they’re at the back of the line. Katana and Kayden challenge Green and Niven to a match tonight, but they decline. Pearce walks up and says that match is tonight. Green and Niven are annoyed.]

[Becky comes to the ring and says she used to have respect for Trish, but now she doesn’t. She says Trish used to be one of the faces of the women’s wrestling, now she’s someone who ass she’s going to kick. Becky says she’s the face of women’s wrestling now and at SummerSlam she’s going to show Trish she’s not that good.]

[Rhodes comes to the ring to start the show. Cody talks about the challenge of having to defend his WWE Championship against The Tribal Chief and Jey Uso in a triple threat match at SummerSlam. Cody says Roman and Jey may be having family issues, but he’s focused on the WWE Championship and he’s leaving SummerSlam he’s the WWE Champion.]

Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) (w/Zelina Vega) def. Rick Boogs, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander [Zelina cost Boogs, Benjamin and Alexander the match.]

[It’s announced that next week there will be a WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship match contract signing between Raquel and Bianca.]

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn def. The O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) [Before the match, Owens and Zayn came to the ring and talked about being annoyed by Pretty Deadly squeezing themselves into their WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship match at SummerSlam. They say it doesn’t matter though because they're going to kick Pretty Deadly and The Street Profits asses and win the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship. The Street Profits were on commentary. Pretty Deadly watched the match from ringside. Post-match, Pretty Deadly tried to sneak attack Owens and Sami, but The Street Profits pushed them out of the way and laid Pretty Deadly out. Owens, Sami and The Street Profits stared at each other.]

[Wyatt, Uncle Howdy and two masked figures are in a dark room. Wyatt cuts a cryptic promo before he and Howdy start laughing.]

The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) def. Tegan Nox and Lacey Evans [Evans was introduced as Nox’s partner after The Unholy Union were in the ring. Evans would take the pinfall.]

[Backstage, Rey does an interview about Kross sneak attacking him. Rey challenges Kross to a match next week.]

Bobby Lashley and AJ Styles def. Imperium (Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser) [Before the match, AJ met with Lashley about working together tonight and after Lashley beats Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam, he wants the first shot at it. Lashley looked at AJ. Post-match, Gunther snuck in the ring and laid out AJ. Gunther attacked Lashley, but Lashley slammed Gunther to the mat. Gunther would roll out of the ring and head up the ramp pissed with Imperium.]

Jey Uso def. Grayson Waller [Earlier in the night, Jey came to the ring and called out The Bloodline, but Waller came out instead. Waller talked about Jey’s issues and made Jey mad. Jey told Waller he can get his ass kicked tonight, setting up the match.]

[Bayley interviews about IYO and Dakota attacking her. She says she brought them up and tried to be a mentor to them, but they turned on her. Bayley says she’s looking to get her hands on IYO and Dakota tonight and walks off.]

Liv Morgan (w/Dominik Mysterio) def. Alexa Bliss [Dominik cost Alexa the match. Post-match, Liv jumped on Dominik and was celebrating with him when Rhea’s music hit and she came to the ring. Liv hid behind Dominik. Rhea asked Dominik what was going on. Dominik tried to explain. Rhea moved Dominik out of the way and stared at Liv. Liv looked scared. Rhea grabbed Liv and went to hit Riptide, but Dominik pulled her away and they left the ring. Rhea went to the ropes yelling at them as Dominik and Liv backed up the ramp.]

[Shinsuke is backstage in a dark red tinted room speaking Japanese. Shinsuke seems off in his message for someone.]

Xia Li def. Indi Hartwell [Before the match, Indi met with Li backstage and talked about her fighting before and after she wins the world championship. Indi tells Li she’s the same. She challenges Li to a match tonight. Li agrees.]

[Rhea met with Pearce and asked him for a match with Liv at SummerSlam. Pearce booked the match.]

Hit Row (Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis) (w/B-Fab) def. Maximum Male Models (Mace and Mansoor)

[We see Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville talking in the back.]

Bronson Reed def. Ricochet [Post-match, Rollins came to the ring and attacked Reed. The two fought until backstage crew came out and broke them up.]

[Bayley is walking in the back looking for IYO and Dakota when Pearce approaches her. Pearce tells Bayley he’s booked a match between her and Dakota next week. Bayley thanks Pearce.]

[Dominik and Liv meet The Judgment Day and they ask Dominik what’s going on with them and Rhea. Before Dominik can speak, Rhea comes in and attacks Liv. Priest and Balor pull Rhea off of Liv as Dominik helps Liv. Rhea tells Liv it’s the two of them at SummerSlam. Rhea walks off as The Judgment Day look at Dominik and Liv.]

Matt Riddle def. Chad Gable [Post-match, Theory came to the ring and sneaked attacked Riddle with the World Heavyweight Championship, laying him out. Theory stood over Riddle with the championship raised in the air.]

Butch def. Sheamus (w/Ridge Holland) [During the match, Butch attacked Holland. Holland tried to get in the ring, but Sheamus told him to stay on the outside. The ref was focused on this while Sheamus had his back turned and when Sheamus turned to Butch, Butch hit Sheamus with a shillelagh for the pinfall.]

[It’s announced that Rick Boogs will face Santos Escobar next week and Legado Del Fantasma is banned from ringside.]

Karrion Kross (w/Scarlett) def. Rey Mysterio [Post-match, Kross wouldn’t let go of the Kross Jacket and Edge’s music hit. Edge came to the ring and would trade blows with Kross before sending him out of the ring. Kross yelled at Edge as he and Scarlett stood below the ramp.]

[Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser come to the ring. Kaiser grabs a mic and tells Lashley at SummerSlam Gunther will embarrass and destroy him. He says Lashley may be tough, but Gunther is The Ring General. Lashley comes to the ring and Imperium jumps him as soon as he enters. Lashley fights back and slams Vinci and Ludwig, laying them out. Gunther comes to the stage and stares at Lashley. Lashley stares back at Gunther.]

[Bianca followed by Raquel come to the ring for their contract signing. Bianca tells Raquel she’s the E.S.T and at SummerSlam she’ll become a three-time world champion. Bianca signs the contract and hands it to Raquel. Raquel tells Bianca she may be the E.S.T, but she’s the biggest and strongest woman in the WWE and at SummerSlam Bianca will come up short. Cody Rhodes © defeated Jey Uso and Roman Reigns (w/Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman) in a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship [Late in the match, Jimmy came to the ring and superkicked Solo, before entering the ring and superkicking Reigns. Jey went for the pin on Reigns, but got spun around and superkicked by Jimmy. Jimmy would leave the ring as Cody would crawl and cover Jey, not knowing what happened. Post-match, Jimmy stared at Jey as Jey stirred in the ring staring back at Jimmy.]

Theory comes out with a mic and tells Riddle not to get used to being World Heavyweight Champion. Theory enters the ring and walks up to Riddle. Theory tells Riddle that nine nights out of ten he’s the better man and Riddle got lucky once. He tells Riddle at Payback, he’s taking his championship back. Riddle tells Theory, instead of Payback, how about tonight. Theory looks around and back at Riddle and tells him no. Theory turns and leaves the ring and heads to the back. Riddle looks on.]

Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey © def. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in a Tag Team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

[Rollins comes to the ring and calls out Reed. Rollins says he wants his rematch for the WWE United States Championship tonight. As Rollins is calling out Reed, Shinsuke sneaks behind him and attacks him before hitting him with Kinshasa. Shinsuke stared down at a laid out Rollins.]

[Indus Sher comes to the ring. Mahal says Indus Sher are the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions and the most dominant team in all of the WWE. Mahal says Indus Sher will destroy any challenger as they rise to the top of the WWE.]

Bayley def. Dakota Kai (w/IYO Sky) [Post-match, IYO entered the ring with Dakota and jumped Bayley.]

[The Judgment Day asks Rhea what’s going on with her. Rhea says what’s going on with her, she asks what’s going on with them letting Liv Morgan into The Judgment Day while she was gone. Dominik and Liv approach. Balor tells Rhea Liv has been helpful while she was away and thinks she’d be a good addition to The Judgment Day. Rhea looks at Dominik and tells him they’re done and also done with The Judgment Day. Rhea walks off. Priest goes after her, but Balor tells Priest he and Dominik should focus on getting the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship back. Priest stays and looks on where Rhea went.]

Xia Li def. Zoey Stark (w/Sonya Deville) via DQ [During the match, a frustrated Stark laid Li out with her briefcase. Post-match, Stark and Deville yell at Li that if she wants to be champ she has to go through them.]

[Reed meets with Pearce and tells him he’s done with Rollins and wants more competition. Pearce says next week there will be a fatal four-way number one contenders match for the WWE United States Championship. He says it will be Odyssey Jones, Otis, JD McDonagh and the fourth man will be determined in a match tonight. Reed walks off.]

Chad Gable def. Ricochet and Apollo Crews in a triple threat match [The winner will be the fourth man in the fatal four way number one contenders match for the WWE United States Championship next week.]

The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) (w/Valhalla) def. Los Lotharios (Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza) [DIY came to the ring and watched from ringside.]

[Becky comes to the ring and says now that she’s beaten Trish, she’s refocusing on the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. Lita’s music hits and she comes to the ring. Lita tells Becky she doesn’t know what’s gotten into Trish, but if Becky is the face of women’s wrestling how about she face her one-on-one to see who the better woman is. Moments later, Trish sneaks behind Becky and attacks her. Trish gets in Lita’s face and asks her what’s she doing out here with Becky. Becky gets up and tackles Trish and the two of them go at it. Becky goes to attack Trish, but Trish ducks and hits Lita instead. Trish leaves the ring as Becky looks between Lita, who is sitting on the mat and Trish.]

Matt Riddle © def. The Miz in a non-title match [Post-match, Theory sneaks in the ring behind Riddle and hits him with A-Town Down. Theory picks up the World Heavyweight Championship and raises it in the air as he stands over Riddle.]

[We start things with a video package from SummerSlam where we saw scenes from the WWE Championship match. We saw Jey almost win the WWE Championship before Jimmy superkicked him and cost him the championship.]

[Owens and Zayn came to the ring. They said they wanted to win the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam, but they didn’t. They said Pretty Deadly was in the way, but since Pretty Deadly was pinned, they can now have their two-on-two match with The Street Profits for the championship. Imperium’s music hits and Vinci and Ludwig come to the ring. They tell Owens and Zayn they lost at SummerSlam which means they’re at the back of the line. They say they should get the next shot at the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship. The O.C. come to the ring next. Anderson and Gallows say Imperium haven’t won in awhile and shouldn’t get the next shot at the championship. They say they should get the next shot at the championship. Benjamin and Alexander come to the ring next. They say The O.C. haven’t won in awhile either and say they should have the next shot at the championship. Pearce comes to the stage and says there will be a series of matches to determine who will be the number one contender to the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship. Pearce says the first match is tonight and it will be Imperium versus Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. And next week it will be The O.C. versus Owens and Zayn.]

Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander def. Imperium (Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser) [The Street Profits were on commentary. During the match, Lashley came to the ring and cost Vince and Ludwig the match.]

[Kross and Scarlett are backstage. Kross talks about Rey and Edge being at the end of their careers and how he plans to end their careers and embarrass them. Kross talks about Edge helping Rey and challenges Edge to a match. He says if Edge loses, Edge must retire and Rey must unmask.]

Asuka def. Emma

[The Unholy Union met with Pearce. They said they never loss to Shayna and Rousey and want their rematch at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Toxic Attraction walk in and say Fyre and Dawn already had their shot at the championship and they deserve the next shot. Pearce books a number one contenders match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship next week between The Unholy Union and Toxic Attraction.]

Butch def. Dolph Ziggler [Post-match, Sheamus came to the ring and laid Butch out with a Brogue Kick.]

[Bianca came to the ring and talked about being a three time world champion. She says Raquel may have been bigger and stronger, but she’s the E.S.T and the new WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion. Raquel’s music hits and she comes to the ring. Raquel tells Bianca she didn’t have what it took to beat her so she used cheap tactics to win the championship. Raquel tells Bianca she knows she’s the better woman and would beat her ass if they fought again. Bianca calls Raquel a sore loser and that she’s the champion because she’s The E.S.T. Raquel tells Bianca to put the championship on the line tonight. Bianca tells Raquel no and that this town doesn’t deserve a championship match. Bianca tells Raquel she can get her rematch, but not tonight. Bianca leaves the ring as Raquel looks on.]

Rick Boogs def. Santos Escobar [Post-match, Legado Del Fantasma came to the ring and jumped Boogs. The lights then went out. Moments later, the lights turned back on and Wyatt, Uncle Howdy, a masked woman and a masked man were in the ring facing Legado Del Fantasma before attacking them. Wyatt and co. would clear the ring of Legado Del Fantasma, before Wyatt hit Escobar with Sister Abigail.]

[The Uso’s music hits and Jey comes to the ring. Jey paces back and forth looking down. Jey says he can’t believe what happened at SummerSlam. He says he was this close from winning the WWE Championship and his brother Jimmy turned on him. Jey says he wants to know why and calls Jimmy to the ring. The Uso’s music hits again and Jimmy heads to the ring wearing all black. Jimmy stands across from Jey and the two stare at each other for several moments. Jimmy tells Jey he did what he did because he loves him. He said he was afraid to lose him. He tells Jey if he’s become WWE Champion, he’d then become Tribal Chief and then what happens to The Usos. He tells Jey he would’ve become like Roman. He says Roman is corrupted. He tells Jey he was afraid he was going to leave. Jey looks at Jimmy and says he is out of The Bloodline, out of Smackdown and out of the WWE. Jey jumps the barricade and leaves as Jimmy looks on.]

[Rollins came to the ring and said he still wants Bronson Reed and the WWE United States Championship, but right now he’s focused on Shinsuke Nakamura. He tells Shinsuke to come to the ring right now so he can beat his ass. Shinsuke snuck in the ring behind Rollins and attacked him. Shinsuke would lay Rollins out with another Kinshasa.]

DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) (w/Candice LeRae) def. Hit Row (Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis) (w/B-Fab) [Before the match, Hit Row were talking backstage and said whether they have to go through Indus Sher or The Judgment Day, there winning their gold back. DIY approached them and laughed at them about losing the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship so fast and says they’ll never be champs again. Hit Row tells DIY to meet them in the ring.]

Xia Li def. Sonya Deville (w/Zoey Stark) [Earlier in the night, Xia Li met Deville and Stark backstage and attacked them. Pure Fusion Collective would recover and jump Li, laying her out again with her briefcase. Deville told Li she won’t win the WWE Raw Women’s Championship until she goes through them. Later, Xia met with Pearce and asked for a match against Deville. Pearce booked the match for tonight. Post-match, Pure Fusion Collective tried to jump Li, but she fought them off.]

[Bayley came to the ring and called out Damage CTRL. She says she wants IYO and Dakota in the ring right now. Damage CTRL’s music hit and they came to the ring. Bayley met them at the ropes and started attacking them. Things spilled to the outside and Damage CTRL began jumping Bayley. Moments later, Bliss’ music hit and she came for the save. Bayley and Bliss would fight Damage CTRL off, who were mad as they backed up the ramp. Bayley and Bliss looked at each other and looked on at Damage CTRL as they left.]

Becky Lynch def. Lita via DQ [During the match, Trish came to the ring and attacked Becky. Trish went for her finisher on Becky and missed and hit Lita. While Trish was looking down at Lita, Becky hit her with her finisher.]

Drew McIntyre def. Ricochet [Earlier in the night, McIntyre met with Pearce backstage. McIntyre told Peace he wanted his World Heavyweight Championship back. Pearce told McIntyre if he wants the World Heavyweight Championship back he’ll have to get into contention. He tells McIntyre he has a match tonight against Ricochet. McIntyre stares at Pearce before walking off.]

Odyssey Jones def. Chad Gable, JD McDonagh (w/Finn Balor) and Otis (w/Maxxine Dupri) in a fatal four-way number one contenders match for the WWE United States Championship [During the match, Liv came to the ring to help JD, but Rhea came to the ring and attacked her.]

The Bloodline’s music hit and Paul Heyman with Solo came to the ring. Heyman tells Cody now that Jey has left the WWE and no one knows where Jimmy is, it’s now just Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and the WWE Championship. Heyman tells Cody, his Tribal Chief will be taking his WWE Championship back at Payback. Heyman and Solo leave the ring as Cody looks on.]

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn def. The O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) [The Street Profits were on commentary.]

[Legado Del Fantasma meets with Pearce backstage. Escobar says his familia wants The Wyatt Sicks at Payback. Pearce says the match is booked. Legado Del Fantasma walks off.]

The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) def. Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) in a #1 contenders tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

AJ Styles vs. Bobby Lashley ended in a no contest [Before the match, AJ came to the ring and talked about Gunther disrespecting him. He says he wants a rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and calls out Gunther. Lashley’s music hit and he came to the ring. Lashley tells AJ since Imperium cost him the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam he’s owed a rematch against Gunther. AJ and Lashley start mouthing off at each other when Pearce comes to the stage. Pearce says AJ and Lashley will face off in a number one contenders match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship tonight. During the match, Imperium came to the ring and attacked AJ and Lashley before the ref rang the bell. Gunther would hit his finisher on Lashley and then hit it by slamming AJ into Lashley. Imperium stood tall over AJ and Lashley as Gunther held the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the air.]

[Backstage, Kayla interviews Heyman about Jey. Heyman says the one who quit Smackdown and the WWE. He says he doesn’t have an update on Jey. Heyman’s phone rings. Heyman says he’s doing an interview. The call ends. Kayla asks what that was about. Heyman says Jimmy Uso will be on Smackdown next week. Heyman then walks away.]

Karrion Kross (w/Scarlett) def. Edge in a Retirement match [Before the match, Rey met with Edge backstage and told him not to have this match. Edge said he needs to kick Kross’ ass. Rey tells Edge he’ll be out there tonight if he needs him. Edge nodded and walked off. Rey looked on. Scarlett tried to cost Edge the match, but Rey came to the ring and stopped her. Scarlett started to fight Rey, which distracted Edge. Kross hit his finisher on Edge for the pinfall. Post-match, Rey and Edge hugged as Kross and Scarlett watched. Kross yelled for Rey to unmask. Rey slowly started to unmask as Kross turned to Scarlett, as they were talking. Edge would then spear Kross as he turned back around. Rey kept his mask on and left the ring with Edge as a pissed off Scarlett looked at Edge and Rey as she checked on Kross.]

Odyssey Jones def. Chad Gable [Before the match, Gable confronted Jones backstage saying it should be him competing for the WWE United States Championship at Payback. Gable says Jones got lucky. Jones told Gable to meet him in the ring.]

[Backstage, Balor confronted Priest for them losing tonight. Priest tells Balor, Dominik is the one who was distracted tonight. Balor tells Priest he has to be better if they want to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship back. The Judgment Day look at Priest and Priest looks back at The Judgment Day.]

Bayley and Alexa Bliss def. Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and IYO Sky) [Before the match, Bliss met with Bayley and told her she knows they haven’t always gotten along, but tonight let’s be on the same page against Damage CTRL. Bayley agreed. Bliss pinned Dakota.]

Shinsuke Nakamura def. Otis (w/Maxxine Dupri) via DQ [During the match, Rollins came to the ring and attacked Shinsuke. Rollins went for the Curb Stomp, but missed as Shinsuke headed up the ramp. Rollins yelled for Shinsuke to bring his ass to the ring, but Shinsuke shook his head no as he headed to the back.]

Liv Morgan (w/Dominik Mysterio) def. Piper Niven (w/Chelsea Green) [Earlier in the night, Liv met with Pearce backstage and said she’s earned a WWE Raw Women's Championship since she beat Rhea at SummerSlam. Pearce booked Rhea versus Liv for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at Payback. Post-match, Rhea came to the ring, but Dominik grabbed Liv and they hurried up the ramp. Drew McIntyre def. JD McDonagh (w/Finn Balor) [Post-match, The Judgment Day jumped McIntyre while Priest watched. Balor yelled at Priest to help them, but only watched for several more moments before going to attack McIntyre. Priest missed McIntyre and laid out Balor. McIntyre would lay out JD and Dominik, before looking over at Priest. McIntyre left the ring as Priest checked on Balor.]

Austin Theory def. Akira Tozawa [Before the match, Theory interviewed backstage and said Tozawa is going to be Riddle tonight. Post-match, Theory grabbed a chair and delivered several chair shots before Riddle’s music hit and he came to the ring for the save. Theory swung at Riddle and missed. Riddle went for the Bro Trigger, but Theory dodged it and rolled out of the ring and headed up the ramp. Riddle looked on.]
