[To begin the show, Adam Pearce introduced the newest member of Raw, Universal Champion, Drew McIntyre, who’d been traded for Cody Rhodes. McIntyre met Pearce in the ring. Pearce asked McIntyre for the Universal Championship and told McIntyre he had something for him, which Pearce was holding, wrapped in a long cloth. Pearce revealed the World Heavyweight Championship and gave it to McIntyre. AJ Styles came to the ring and exchanged words with McIntyre about their World Heavyweight Championship match at Extreme Rules.]
