Last time they were in Dallas for a Mania the prices were absurd and it was Mania 32

I wish I had a Takeover option but I might peruse the indy leeches instead

I expect it'll be even more expensive this year too. Takeovers are apparently just not on the schedule for nxt at all so no idea if we're even getting nxt ppvs again at this point in time. Too bad GCW never comes to Texas, that would be way more fun and cost efficient.

Don't wanna go too far into aew in this topic but seems like they're gonna be a thing for Double or Nothing and All Out only if they do it holiday weekends since a lot of people are off the next Monday.

Real glad to see WWE going the Saturday route more often tho, MITB on July 4th weekend should be interesting

indeed, think itll be 2 sats 2 suns. if its on holidays though its fine like you said. I agree WWE doing more Saturdays is great. Especially during football season!

Summerslam in July? I doubt this is complete tho bc no way they go from Royal Rumble to Mania with nothing in between. Probably eliminating chamber and a Saudi show or just a Saudi show if I had to guess

Throw one in late February and treat it like they did at this event and they've got a genuine Road to WrestleMania PPV. Throw the other one in towards the back end of the year like this one just gone and treat it the same and you can probably do away with something like Backlash/HIAC/Elimination Chamber (not this one)

I think the original deal was 2 shows a year, yeah so that's what I've been expecting once they got back to a more normal schedule

With the amount of money they get for these shows, they really should position them as proper PPV's in the calendar and do away with 2 normal stateside ones.

Looks like that's the plan tbh with how much money they got from Peacock up front too, I doubt we see any random periods of like 2 big shows in two weeks lol they're not trying to push for new subscribers as hard with hot shots

Deffo the Saudi shows then, almost no way they release a 2022 calendar leaving a US based February PPV off.
