*SHADOWS OF A SETTING SUN*
The commentary team welcomes us to Monday Night Raw and tells us that we are starting off hot as Shinsuke Nakamura will be taking on Rusev with the winner becoming the number one contender for the United States title at Armageddon. Shinsuke looks focused as he walks to the ring ahead of a major opportunity to get his career back on track.
*ROAR OF THE LION*
Loud cheers from the crowd as Rusev makes his way out joined by his wife Lana at the top of the ramp. Shinsuke in the ring shouts at the referee and then at her demanding she leave. Lana ignores him and gives her husband a kiss wishing him good luck tonight before walking off. Michael Cole reminds us that both men are former United States champions with Rusev winning the title himself on 3 occasions. He steps into the ring as the referee makes sure both men go to separate corners before calling for the bell to get this match underway!
Match 1: United states title number one contender's match: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Rusev
Match summary: Once the bell rings both men start brawling as they let their hatred for each other come out. The referee has to tell both men to bring it into the ring on a couple of occasions and even has to warn Rusev when he keeps Shinsuke in the corner for a bit too long. This happens when Shinsuke makes a dig at his wife Lana. And Shinsuke being the troll he is starts using the digs at Lana to try to unsettle his former tag team partner.
It works for a time as Shinsuke shows us why he is the King of Strong Style as he starts peppering the Bulgarian Brute with several hard kicks and strikes trying to keep Rusev down for a 3 count but no matter what Shinsuke does Rusev gets back up! Shinsuke shakes his head as he once again starts taunting Lana and it proves to be one time too many as Rusev snaps battering the hell out of Shinsuke!
Rusev though makes sure not to get himself DQ'd as he completely dominates Shinsuke as the match comes to a close. Rusev hits him with several suplexes tossing Shinsuke around like he is nothing! He lines Shinsuke up and connects with the MACHKA KICK! He then grabs hold of Shinsuke and locks him in THE ACCOLADE! Rusev has the hold locked in tight as Shinsuke tries to escape! Rusev though refuses to let go, bending the hold back even further and Shinsuke is forced to tap out!
Winner via submission: Rusev (12:16)
Rusev holds on for a few seconds after the match, still angry at Shinsuke for his comments but does let go after some prompting by the referee. Rusev gets to his feet as he lets out a loud roar. The crowd meanwhile starts up a few Rusev Day chants for him as he celebrates in the ring. The commentary team put over how much the United States title meant for him in the past when he wasn't an American but now he is an actual United States citizen, it would mean so much to him.
As Rusev is celebrating, Lana slowly makes her way out as she walks past Shinsuke on the outside who is holding his neck. She steps into the ring and she shares a long kiss with her husband. Rusev nods and promises to do it for her. Lana nods and lifts her husband's arm into the air as she looks to get the fans to increase the “Rusev Day” chants. On the outside meanwhile, Shinsuke shakes his head clearly frustrated as we cut to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break we see Samoa Joe walking through the backstage area showing off his United States title. As he is walking he suddenly gets stopped by Renee Young.
Renee Young: Joe, sorry to disturb you but I just wanted to hear your thoughts.
Samoa Joe smirks as he turns to Renee
Samoa Joe: Of course.
Renee Young: Well we just found out the next man challenging you for the United States is...
Joe raises his hand into the air.
Samoa Joe: You said challenger. There is no one who can challenge me. There is no one on my level. I've held this belt for two-hundred and two days! Everyone who has stepped up from legends to monsters to Olympians have fallen at my feet! And whoever is next will fall as well. So tell me the next person I'm choking out.
Renee Young: Well we just found out it is a former three-time United States champion Rusev.
Joe smirks.
Samoa Joe: And do you know what being a three-time champion means Renee? It means he lost this three times. Do you know how many times I've lost this belt? None. I'm a one-time champion and that ain't ending any time soon!
Samoa Joe lifts the title off his shoulder and holds it proudly in the air.
Samoa Joe: It doesn't matter what day it falls on because I'm ready to fight every day. Rusev congratulations on becoming a United States citizen but you ain't becoming the United States champion!
Samoa Joe puts his title back on his shoulder and walks off bringing the interview to an end as we cut elsewhere backstage.

We see the Authors of Pain getting ready to compete. They are jogging up and down, dressed in their full SWAT gear as EC3 and Drake Maverick walk into the shot. EC3 is holding a briefcase as he approaches the pair.
EC3: As promised here is the money for destroying Breezeango.
Akam grabs it and opens the briefcase looking inside. Rezar peers over and steps forward walking towards EC3.
Rezar: Where's the rest?
Akam shuts the briefcase as he steps forward towards EC3 who puts his hands up in the air in a defensive fashion.
EC3: Once you destroy Breezeango tonight, you'll get the rest. I promise.
Rezar and Akam both nod, happy to trust the top 1% for now. Drake Maverick at this point steps forward and slaps the chest of Akam, getting a glare from the big man which Maverick is oblivious to.
Drake Maverick: Listen I know you two have been away for a while but remember the success you had under me? Now I work as EC3's manager but I'm more than happy to split my time and...
Akam grabs Drake Maverick by the throat.
Akam: We don't need you.
Rezar: We never needed you. You hindered us.
Akam: You cost us the tag team titles.
Rezar: And now we get them back.
Akam drops Drake Maverick to the floor with a thud as The Authors of Pain glare at EC3 who wisely puts his arms up backing off ever so slightly. The Authors of Pain then walk off heading to the ring as Michael Cole advises their qualifying match against Breezeango is up next!

*BRING THE SWAG*
Cheers from the live crowd as The Street Profits make their way out surprising the live crowd. Both men lift their cups into the air having fun with the live crowd. They then make their way over to the commentary desk as they grab headsets joining Michael Cole and Big Show on commentary.
Cole asks them why they are out here and Montez explains they are here to see who will be bringing the smoke to the championship scramble! Both men start trying to get Michael Cole to have fun and dance with them something Cole obviously does not do. Big Show however is more than happy to join in on the Street Profits antics.
*BREEZANGO*
Breezango makes their way out getting cheers from the fans. They look a bit more serious than usual tonight after the Authors of Pain attacked them the last two weeks. Breezango have their selfie sticks in hand but they don't pose walking straight to the ring disappointing the Street Profits who wanted to strike a pose with the pair. Once inside we can hear Breeze and Fandango talking strategy ahead of this match.
*PAIN*
Boos from the crowd as the Authors of Pain march out with scowls on their faces. Akam is still holding the briefcase full of money that EC3 had given to them for taking out Breezango. The Street Profits mention being up for facing off against the Authors of Pain. Akam steps into the ring looking to start the match for AOP whilst Tyler Breeze starts for Breezango as the referee calls for the bell to get this underway.
Match 2: Raw tag team titles qualifying match: Breezango vs The Authors of Pain
Match summary: Breezango start the match off hot as they look to catch The Authors of Pain off-guard and pull off an upset here! They rock AOP in the first minute or so however it soon becomes clear that they ain't able to overcome the monsters. Akam and Rezar take control of the match tossing Breezango around the ring before hitting Fandango with the LAST CHAPTER (Akam hits a Russian Legsweep whilst Rezar hits a lariat)! Rezar makes the cover and picks up the win for AOP!
Winners via pinfall: The Authors of Pain (4:09)
The Authors of Pain rise to their feet standing over the laid out Breezango as they pose in the ring having advanced to the Championship Scramble match for the Raw tag team titles at Armageddon. The Street Profits give AOP credit for their performance tonight and say they really brought the smoke tonight. However, it seems AOP are far from done as they look at each other and nod. They grab hold of Tyler Breeze and Fandango as they start laying into the pair looking to inflict further pain on the duo.
The Street Profits seeing this take their headsets off with a quickness and sprint down the ramp towards the ring catching Akam and Rezar's attention. The Authors of Pain put down Breezango after seeing The Street Profits at ringside not wanting another fight right now and back up the ramp. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins check on Breezeango in the ring making sure they are OK before they start to stare down AOP as they retreat up the ramp.

When we return from the commercial break we see a street at what seems to night time in black and white. The camera then shows a man in a hoodie walking down the street. The camera pans in as the man pulls the hood up and we see it is Mustafa Ali. He has a blank expression on his face as he looks into the camera.
Mustafa Ali: Disappointment. Loss. These are things that can define us or break us.
Mustafa Ali starts to walk through a street with a few smashed windows and graffiti on it as he looks to carry on speaking.
Mustafa Ali: Everyone at some point in their life will have to deal with loss or disappointment. But what defines you is how you respond to the disappointment. How you overcome your struggles.
Ali carries on walking as we then see some kids playing on a run-down basketball court and making the best of it.
Mustafa Ali: You can make the best of it and learn from it or you can make excuses and take it out on someone else.
Ali now finds a bench as he takes a seat on it and looks at the camera.
Mustafa Ali: I've come this close to becoming a champion in WWE on several occasions. But each time I have come up just short. Now some people would make excuses but I don't believe in that.
Mustafa Ali gets to his feet.
Mustafa Ali: Each loss is a lesson. Each time I came up short, I learned something from it. And at Armageddon I refuse to take shortcuts like Dar does, I will prove I'm the better man and I will be a champion people can be proud of. That I can be proud of.
Mustafa Ali puts his hood back up and walks off as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside.

The commentary team hype up the Cruiserweight title match at Armageddon before telling us we will see Noam Dar in action later on tonight against local hero Mark Andrews one half of the NXT UK tag team champions!
*BRAUN/ I AM STRONGER*
A loud pop as Braun Strowman's music hits. However, the Monster Among Men doesn't march out straight away like he normally does. Instead, he slowly walks out with a pair of crutches and his leg in a cast. The commentary team put over the war he went through with Samoa Joe at Backlash and the damage Joe did to his leg during their Last Man Standing match. He struggles into the ring as the monster has to be helped inside in a way we have never really seen before. Once inside the ring, he asks for a microphone as he glares at the camera clearly still angry.
Braun Strowman: Two weeks ago, I let myself down.
Braun stops and looks down as the fans quieten down a moment.
Braun Strowman: Samoa Joe beat me.
You can see how much it pains Braun to show any weakness as he grits his teeth but looks to carry on.
Braun Strowman: Samoa Joe outsmarted me. He knew he couldn't destroy me so he destroyed my leg instead!
The camera now pans down to the leg before showing Braun's face.
Braun Strowman: Now this leg is going to take a few weeks to heal but Joe... I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET!
Cheers from the crowd who are interested in the prospect of a possible round 3 between the two monsters. Braun looks to carry on speaking when suddenly...
*I CAME TO COLLECT*
Boos from the crowd as Lio Rush walks out all by himself with his sunglasses and a microphone as he slowly walks to the ring getting Braun's attention.
Braun Strowman: I don't know what you're doing out here but I suggest you head back there before you get these hands!
Lio smirks as he climbs into the ring and hops over the ropes.
Lio Rush: You don't exactly look in a state to be making threats Braun.
Braun frowns and slowly moves towards Lio who quickly climbs over the ropes holding his arm out.
Lio Rush: Whoa whoa big man calm down. I came out here to talk business.
As Lio says that we see Bobby Lashley slowly appear at the top of the ramp however Braun hasn't noticed keeping his eyes on Lio.
Lio Rush: Now as you know I manage the main man himself, Bobby Lashley. And right now, we are in a bit of a rut.
Lashley slowly walks down the ramp as Rush carries on.
Lio Rush: Backlash was a disappointing night for us as well. So it got me thinking about how we could get back on track and I saw you lose to Samoa Joe.
Braun steps forward as Rush retreats once again prompting Lashley to slide into the ring confronting Braun. However, neither man throw any fists just staring each other down. Lio Rush on the outside of the ring carries on talking.
Lio Rush: Listen there is no shame in losing. It happens. Even to the main man.
Lashley turns around glaring at Lio who puts his arms into the air acting defensively.
Lio Rush: No one is perfect but if you join up with us, we can dominate this brand!
Braun looks confused as he looks at Lio Rush.
Lio Rush: No we can dominate this whole company! No one can match up to you two in power and together we can get whatever we want!
Boos from the crowd as Lio Rush carries on his hype.
Lio Rush: You can get your rematch with Joe and Lashley can get his hands on Brock Lesnar!
Mixed reaction from the crowd for the mention of Brock. Braun however smirks and turns to face Rush.
Braun Strowman: And what if I want to be the one to face Brock?
Lashley frowns as Braun turns back to face Lio Rush.
Braun Strowman: And with regards to your offer, thanks but no thanks.
Braun drops the microphone and looks to leave but Lio clears his throat stopping Braun in his tracks.
Lio Rush: Well, if you won't work with us to get Lashley back on track, there is another way you can help us.
Braun looks confused until Lashley clobbers him from behind! Loud boos from the crowd as Lashley starts laying into Braun Strowman here and really giving the monster among men a hard time. Lio Rush on the outside of the ring smirks seeing Lashley manhandle Braun who struggles to defend himself. He gets a few big strikes off sending Lashley back. However as Braun struggles to his feet, Rush hits Braun with a low dropkick to his injured leg!
Braun collapses to the mat as the crowd boo Lio Rush's cheap shot. Lio backs away as he lets Bobby Lashley carry on destroying Braun on the mat and really laying a vicious beatdown on the Monster Among Men. He lifts Braun into the air and plants him with a running powerslam laying Braun out! Braun has been destroyed but as Lashley goes to leave the ring Lio stops as he has an idea.
Lio slowly climbs to the top rope and flies off hitting Braun with THE FINAL HOUR ONTO THE LEG! Braun grabs his leg selling the pain he is in from not only the beatdown but also what Joe did to him at Backlash. Lashley meanwhile heads to the outside standing stoic as ever as he lifts his arm into the air posing. Lio meanwhile shouts “Are you watching? We are done playing!” as they head up the ramp. In the ring meanwhile, we see medics make their way into the ring and check on Braun as well as his leg.

As Braun is being helped in the ring by medics the camera cuts backstage as we see Shayna Baszler walking to the ring being followed by her two goons Jessamyn Duke and Marina Sharif. Michael Cole tells us Shayna Baszler will be making her Raw debut against Natalya next!

Boos from the crowd as the Queen of Spades walks to the ring with a cocky smirk. Her henchwomen are behind her as she walks to the ring as they hype their leader up. Big Show and Michael Cole run down what she achieved in NXT before coming to Monday Night Raw as she waits for Natalya.
*NEW FOUNDATION*
Cheers from the crowd as Natalya makes her way out to the ring all by herself. Michael Cole reminds us of the stipulation for this match with Becky Lynch and Beth Phoenix banned from ringside. She is taking her time wary of the challenge she faces tonight going one on one with Shayna Baszler. Natalya slowly climbs into the ring ready for this match. Shayna meanwhile smirks and noticeably says to Duke and Sharif “this is going to be fun”. The referee then calls for the bell to get this underway!
Match 3: Shayna Baszler w/The Real Horsewomen vs Natalya (Beth Phoenix and Becky Lynch are banned from ringside):
Match summary: The match starts off slowly with both women feeling each other out in the early stages. After the early feeling out stages, both women start trading submissions as they target each other's arms trying to stop each other from locking in their submissions. As the match goes on we cut to images of Beth Phoenix and Becky Lynch watching the match in separate locations on a monitor.
The match is fairly even as we get to around the halfway point but the match takes a sudden turn in Shayna's favor. Shayna gets Natalya down to the mat and starts laying in a few brutal stomps to the head flattening poor Natalya! Shayna then grabs Natalya's arm placing it on the mat for a moment and STOMPS ON IT! Natalya grabs her arm which is clearly in a ton of pain as Shayna lets out an evil smirk.
The referee goes to check on Natalya who says she will carry on but that is a mistake as Shayna just tortures her slowly for the rest of the match, targeting the arm again and again and again. However, she doesn't go for the win and instead just slowly dissects Natalya. She even shouts a few times during this vicious beating are you watching Becky? Are you watching Beth?
And we see both women watching backstage as this is going on. Beth looks angry whilst Becky remains unmoved for the most part. Back in the ring, Shayna has a close scare as Natalya rolls her up for a close two count and Shayna decides it is time to stop playing with her food. She grabs the damaged arm of Natalya and locks her in a KIMURA! Shayna wrenches Natalya's arm back as the Queen of Harts tries to escape but she can't and taps out!
Winner via submission: Shayna Baszler (13:08)
The bell rings as Shayna picks up a massive win on her début match tonight. However, the bell ringing doesn't stop Shayna who keeps the Kimura locked in after the bell really tearing at poor Natalya's arm! The referee tries to get Shayna to let go of the hold but the Queen of Spades has no intention of realizing as she tries to break Natalya's arm! Nattie screams in pain and we see the arm slightly move as Shayna drops it! Nattie grabs her arm as she screams it is broken as Shayna and the Horsewomen smirk ready to do even more damage as...
*GLAMAZON*
Beth sprints down the ramp with a chair in her hands and looks to batter Shayna Baszler but the Queen of Spades once again gets out of dodge fleeing from the ring. The other two real horsewomen flee too as Beth goes to chase after them but hears Natalya crying so turns around for a second. Shayna and her goons look like they are about to pounce on this moment of weakness until...
*CELTIC INVASION*
Becky Lynch sprints out with a kendo stick in hand but the Real Horsewomen chooses that they have done enough damage as they flee into the crowd. Becky looks to chase after them but once again Shayna and The Real Horsewomen have gained the upper hand on Becky who follows after them. In the ring meanwhile, we see Beth checking on her friend as medics appear and try to help Natalya who is screaming in pain. Big Show tells us we are going to a commercial break whilst the medical team tries to help Natalya and make sure she is OK.

When we return from the commercial break, we can see the medical team taking Natalya into the medical room to make sure she is OK. Beth looks to follow after her but one of the medical staff blocks the door and advises her to wait outside for the moment. Beth shakes her head clearly angry as she stands by the door as Charly Caruso approaches Beth.
Charly Caruso: Beth, I was just wondering is there any updates on the condition of your friend Nat...
Beth Phoenix: There is no update! She is currently being checked out but you know who I have an update for. Shayna Baszler!
You can almost feel the anger radiating off Beth Phoenix as she glares at Charly Caruso who is a little scared.
Beth Phoenix: You think you can do that to my friend and get away with it? I promise that I will destroy Shayna!
As she says that we see Becky Lynch walk onto the scene in a bad mood herself having failed to get her hands on Shayna once again.
Becky Lynch: If anyone is getting their hands on Shayna it's me!
Beth brushes past Charly Caruso and gets right in Becky's face. Becky though refuses to back down.
Becky Lynch: And if I have to go through you to get my hands on her, so be it!
Beth Phoenix: You ain't getting the chance to get your hands on Shayna because when I get hold of her, I will end her! And if you try to stop me, you'll find out why mocking my husband all the time is such a bad idea.
Both women look like they are about to come to blows until...
Paige: OK that's enough or neither of you will get your hands on Shayna!
Paige steps forward and stands between the two women stopping them from fighting.
Paige: I don't need any more wrestlers coming out of tonight with injuries! Now you two are going to leave.
Neither Beth nor Becky moves an inch.
Paige: I said you two are going to leave if you want to get your hands on Shayna. You both Shayna in a match? Next week I will speak to both of you and Shayna to see who faces her at Armageddon.
Both women look at Paige before Beth breaks first walking off, knocking over some water off a table in anger. Becky turns to Paige.
Becky Lynch: Paige, the only reason I'm trusting you is our past. You better give me what I want. If you don’t? The man will be forced to find her own way to collect.
Becky walks off angry as Paige gulps and looks a bit worried as she now needs to find a way to please both superstars.

We then cut to Renee Young stood ready for an interview.
Renee Young: Would you please welcome my guest at this time, Rey Mysterio.
Rey Mysterio walks onto the interview set getting a good pop from the live crowd.
Renee Young: Rey, you are one win away from fighting for the Universal title in Mexico. How big would a win be tonight?
Rey smiles.
Rey Mysterio: A win tonight would be one of the biggest of my career. And the chance to become a world champion for a fourth time?
Rey takes a moment before carrying on.
Rey Mysterio: Renee, I'm going to be honest. I know I don't have long left in my career. This could be my last chance to become a world champion. And to do it in Mexico? That would be incredible.
???: And we could quickly turn your dream into a nightmare.
Rey turns around ready for a fight as we see Zelina Vega stood in front of the Ungovenables. Zelina however smirks.
Zelina Vega: Don't worry Rey, we don't want to hurt you tonight. I mean why would we cost you the chance to take the Universal title when taking it from you would be so much sweeter?
Andrade smirks as he lifts his Money in the Bank briefcase into the air.
Zelina Vega: C'mon boys we have a match to win.
Zelina walks off leading The Ungovenables to the ring as Michael Cole tells us Cesaro and Ilja Dragunov will take on Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins to see who takes the last spot in the Championship scramble match at Armageddon!

*BRING THE SWAG*
And just like earlier tonight, The Street Profits make their way to the commentary desk. Both men have fun with the crowd before taking a seat next to Big Show and Michael Cole. The team gives Big Show a high five and try to get the boring Michael Cole to join in but Cole isn't going to have fun with the pair.
*WEIGHTLESS*
Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins make their way out joined by their friend over the last few months Jey Uso. Michael Cole brings up the fact the pair won the tag belts at Wrestlemania and they will be looking to get their belts back. Montez says they partied all night long when it happened whilst Dawkins mentions Jey Uso being out here to stop Zelina from getting involved. Montez calls her a damn Jezebel which gets a laugh out of Michael Cole.
*MAKING A DIFFERENCE*
Making their way out to the ring using Andrade's theme and what is now the theme song for the group, Cesaro and Ilja Dragunov walk to the ring dressed to compete. Andrade is noticeably in what looks like a nice business suit whilst Zelina is in one of her fabulous dresses. Jey Uso on the outside throws a few insults as he warns Andrade and Zelina to not get involved which makes them smirk.
Cesaro steps into the ring looking confident as Big Show reminds us of the issues these groups had earlier in the year. Michael Cole chips in the Ungovenables are even stronger now. Street Profits though wonder how good Cesaro and Ilja could be as a team as they are still getting used to working together. Cesaro looks to start for the Ungovenables whilst Curt Hawkins starts for his team.
Match 4: Raw tag team titles qualifying match: Ryder and Hawkins w/Jey Uso vs The Ungovenables w/Andrade Cien Almas and Zelina Vega
Match summary: Ryder and Hawkins put on a decent showing having gained a lot more confidence over the last few months. The pair use their skill and experience as a tag team to give The Ungovenables a run for their money in the early stages. It even forces Ilja and Cesaro to leave the ring for a short period to regroup and discuss strategy with Zelina Vega on the outside of the ring. After this Cesaro and Ilja work much better as a team and start to slowly take control of the match. The Street Profits give credit to the team on commentary but mention that Zelina is clearly the brains.
Montez also makes jokes about how fine she in his usual manner. In the closing stages of the match, The Ungovenables take complete control with Cesaro showing off his insane power. In the end, Cesaro tags in Ilja as he wipes out Hawkins with a massive European uppercut sending him to the outside. Cesaro then lifts Ryder off the mat and into the air for the CESARO SWING! As Cesaro swings him around Ilja flies out of the corner and hits TORPEDO MOSCOW! Ilja makes the cover whilst Cesaro blocks Hawkins and The Ungovenables pick up the win!

The Ungovenables get to their feet looking to celebrate in the ring. Zelina lets out a devilish smile as she joins her boys in the ring as they look to celebrate. Andrade slides into the ring as well as Zelina and Andrade raising Cesaro and Ilja hands into the air. Jey on the outside meanwhile looks to console his friends Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. The Street Profits meanwhile leave the commentary desk and stare down the Ungovenables in the ring as we now know the final team in the championship scramble at Armageddon.

When we return from the commercial break we see the Lucha Dragons Kalisto and Sin Cara stood backstage facing the camera with the Mexican flag in the background.
Kalisto: Last week we finally put our war with the One Twos to bed.
Sin Cara: They wanted a fight and we gave it to them but now?
Kalisto: We have four more teams to fight.
Sin Cara: In a golden opportunity.
Both men point to the flag behind them in goofy fashion.
Kalisto: We have the chance to become tag team champions in the home of Lucha libre.
Kalisto takes a moment to let that settle in as Sin Cara takes over.
Sin Cara: It has been a long time since we held gold together.
Kalisto: Just over five years ago, when we were the NXT tag team champions. But now is our time to become champions again.
Sin Cara: And to show everyone why Mexico is so proud of Lucha.
The promo package comes to an end on that line as the camera zooms in on the Mexican flag.

We then cut to Charly Caruso who is stood ready for an interview.
Charly Caruso: In tonight's main event, we will see AJ Styles take on Rey Mysterio with the winner taking on the Universal champion Seth Rollins at Armageddon. And let's hear from the champion himself Seth Rollins.
Seth walks into the shot with the Universal title around his waist and a smile on his face.
Seth Rollins: Thanks for having me Charly.
Charly Caruso: My first question is last week you mentioned Edge's comments about you still being the same Seth Rollins of the past. Did his comments get to you and do you think you are a different person now?
Seth looks a little annoyed but his face quickly changes to a smile as he looks to address Charly's question.
Seth Rollins: Listen Charly, the stuff I did in the past to get to the top. That ain't me anymore. I've become a better person. I've learned from my mistakes and I now want to be a true leader on this brand.
Charly nods.
Charly Caruso: My next question, in tonight's main event we see Rey Mysterio take on AJ Styles a man you're already familiar with, to see who faces you at Armageddon. Who would you prefer to win?
Seth takes a moment to think before responding.
Seth Rollins: I mean I'm always looking for the new challenges and I've already proved I'm better than AJ Styles. So I'm rooting for Rey Mysterio.
Charly Caruso: Even if it means walking into an atmosphere where you will be seen as the villain?
Seth Rollins pauses for a moment once again unsure what to say.
Seth Rollins: If the fans want to boo me they can but whether it is Rey or AJ I fight in Mexico, after Armageddon this show will still be Monday Night Rollins!
Seth Rollins walks off after that slightly awkward interview comes to an end. Meanwhile, the commentary team tells us after the commercial break we will hear from the Raw Women's champion Sasha Banks and advises us to not go anywhere!

Loud boos from the crowd as Sasha Banks makes her way out holding her Raw Women's title in the air. She walks to the ring in her signature shutter shades looking mildly annoyed. She climbs into the ring as Michael Cole reminds us what happened two weeks ago when Bayley made her return attacking Sasha as she looked to gain some revenge. Sasha now in the ring pulls her shutter shades to the top of her head and looks to address the fans.
Sasha Banks: No matter how much you people boo me, one thing will remain the same. The Boss will always be on top!
Sasha lifts the Raw Women's title into the air drawing more heat from the crowd which makes the Boss smirk.
Sasha Banks: And last week you made your second mistake Bayley.
Sasha gets serious as she glares at the camera.
Sasha Banks: The first mistake? Coming back.
Loud boos but Sasha doesn't care.
Sasha Banks: You should have stayed away. By coming back, you sealed your fate and ruined your career.
Sasha smirks.
Sasha Banks: You could have gone to NXT or Smackdown. I mean Triple H would have taken back one of his golden girls.
Sasha makes sure to flash the four for the camera.
Sasha Banks: But you choose to come back here? You really are a stupid little girl.
The boos get louder as Sasha slightly smirks as she carries on getting under the crowd's skin.
Sasha Banks: Cause we come to your second mistake. Accusing me of hiding? You think I'm going to let my former best friend run her mouth and make me look bad. You really had no idea who I was did you Bayley!
Sasha shakes her head.
Sasha Banks: So now, what I do to you at Armageddon, that's on you.
Sasha lets out an evil smile. She looks to say more but suddenly...
*TURN IT UP*
Bayley makes her way out getting a loud pop from the crowd. Bayley has a microphone in her hand as she slowly walks out. Banks in the ring is smirking as she stares at her former best friend.
Bayley: Sasha I'm sick of hearing you talk trash about me.
Sasha in the ring puts her hand up to her mouth faking shock.
Bayley: You ain't shit Sasha!
A loud pop from the fans as Bayley shows some rare fire as Banks responds in the ring by doing the fake crying taunt. Bayley shakes her head.
Bayley: I'm done talking and I ain't waiting till Armageddon to kick your ass!
Bayley drops the microphone and sprints to the ring desperate to get hands on Sasha Banks but the Boss once again slides out of the ring and heads back up the ramp avoiding Bayley's attack! Bayley kicks the ropes annoyed but doesn't follow Sasha. Banks meanwhile still has her microphone as she looks to taunt Bayley.
Sasha Banks: Bayley, we will do this on my terms and I will always be one step ahead of you.
As Sasha Banks says that we suddenly see the PIRATE PRINCESS KAIRI SANE walk out onto the top of the entrance ramp cutting Sasha Banks off! The crowd cheers as Sasha turns around and Kairi punches Sasha in the face knocking her backwards. Meanwhile, as Sasha stumbles backwards Bayley sprints up the ramp and clobbers Banks from behind laying into the Boss!
Bayley wails on Banks as the commentary team says Bayley must have planned this and has outsmarted the Boss tonight! Bayley eventually stops punching Sasha in the head as she lifts her off the ground and into the air as she plants Banks with a BAYLEY TO BELLY ON THE ENTRANCE RAMP! Bayley leans over her former best friend Sasha and warns her this is just the start as Bayley grabs the Raw Women's title lifting it into the air whilst Kairi Sane hugs her friend Bayley.

We return from the commercial break as Sasha Banks is backstage being checked by a few of the medical team. She does not look happy as she gets to her feet and pushes one to the ground.
Sasha Banks: Get off me!
Sasha storms off and starts pointing down the hallway!
Sasha Banks: Paige! PAIGE!
The camera pans over as we can see the Raw commissioner is on the phone conducting business as Sasha screams down the hallway.
Paige: I'll call you back.
Paige hangs up the phone as Banks gets right in Paige's face.
Sasha Banks: Did you see what just happened to your champion? I could have been injured.
Paige: Oh like you injured Bayley.
Sasha at that point stops and coldly stares at Paige.
Sasha Banks: Yeah maybe I should have ended her career, like I ended yours.
Massive heat from the crowd watching the segment in the arena. Paige has to stop herself from slapping Banks but she composes herself.
Paige: You ever make a comment like that again and I will go out of my way to make your life a living hell.
Banks doesn't care just smirking.
Sasha Banks: You wouldn't. I'm too big a star.
Paige: Try me. But tell you what? I'll give you a chance to get your hands on Bayley and Kairi after what happened. As next week you will face them in tag team action!
Sasha Banks: And who's my partner?
Paige smiles.
Paige: Well since you're such a big star you should have no trouble finding somebody.
Sasha Banks: And what if I don't?
Paige: Then it will be a handicap match.
Paige at this point goes back to her phone call leaving a furious Sasha Banks stood glaring at the Raw commissioner as we cut back to the ring.

We cut back to the commentary team who wonders if Sasha will be able to find anyone to team with her next week. Big Show says Sasha has made a lot of enemies especially after she attacked Bayley at Money in the Bank and at Summerslam.
*GOLDEN GODDESS*
Mandy Rose makes her way out next getting a few boos from the crowd. She is joined by Sonya Deville ahead of this singles match tonight. Michael Cole mentions Fire and Desire haven't been in a great mood after losing their Women tag team titles to Team Kick from NXT. Big Show says a win tonight over the rookie Taynara Conti should help Mandy get back on track.
*NO REST FOR THE WICKED*
Taynara Conti makes her way out to the ring getting little reaction from the crowd. She looks fired up as her tag team partner Xia Li joins her on the entrance ramp. Michael Cole says this is a massive match for Taynara and she is making her singles debut tonight on Monday Night Raw. She steps into the ring as the referee calls for the bell getting this underway.
Match 5: Mandy Rose w/Sonya Deville vs Taynara Conti w/Xia Li
Match summary: A bit of a clunky match with Taynara still being very green and Mandy Rose not being the best in-ring worker. Mandy takes Conti lightly throughout the match mocking her which proves to be the Golden Goddesses' downfall as the match comes to a close. She gets cocky one too many times and as she taunts Conti, the Brazilian judo specialist grabs her arm locking her in an ARMBAR! Rose struggles in the hold for a few seconds before tapping out giving Conti theupset win!
Winner via submission: Taynara Conti (3:21)
Conti lets go of the hold after the match and jumps to her feet delighted to have picked up a big win in her first Raw singles match. Xia Li joins her tag team partner in the ring and gives her a hug. Sonya meanwhile helps Mandy to her feet on the outside of the ring as Mandy clutches her arms. Sonya can be seen chatting some trash to the pair in the ring who carry on celebrating more than happy to have Conti win tonight.

When we return from the commercial break we see The Club arriving at the arena. AJ Styles leads the way but the Good Brothers cut an imposing figure behind him. They have their Raw tag team titles around their waist as they walk into the building but the trio stop as Renee Young approaches them looking for an interview.
Renee Young: AJ, in tonight's main event you face the legendary Rey Mysterio for the chance to become the number one contender for the Universal title. How do you feel knowing how much a win would mean to Rey?
AJ looks bemused.
AJ Styles: Why would I care about Rey? What people should be talking about is the fact I'm having to earn what should be given to me.
Karl Anderson: AJ was robbed by the Street Profits sticking their nose in our business.
Luke Gallows: Exactly and they ain't the only teams sticking their nose in our business.
Karl Anderson: Lucha Dragons. We've beaten you before and we will do it again.
Luke Gallows: Authors of Pain. I know you ain't been around for a long time but this we run this show.
AJ Styles: And that brings us to the Ungovenables. Zelina you think you're boys are going to take over this brand but this is The Club's territory. These tag belts are ours and soon the Universal title will be mine!
AJ steps forward getting closer to Renee.
AJ Styles: And no briefcase from Andrade or fake words from Seth Rollins is going to stop this from becoming the second house AJ Styles builds.
AJ walks off and the Good Brothers follow suit as The Club put their growing list of enemies on notice ahead of tonight's main event.

We then cut to a dark room backstage as we can see Aleister Black in a black smart suit sitting down as he stares at the camera with an intense glare.
Aleister Black: One more week that the beast fails to appear.
Black lets out a sigh laced with anger as he clenches his fists.
Aleister Black: One more week I don't get to avenge my pride. One more week I have to wait in the darkness.
Black wipes his hands down his face and frowns at the camera.
Aleister Black: I should have known your messenger wouldn't keep his word. Because he doesn't send you. No no you send him when you don't want to face your sins.
Black leans forward placing his hands in front of the camera in almost a prayer-like position.
Aleister Black: But we all suffer for our sins. No man is truly good and no man is truly evil. Everyone is capable of good deeds and bad deeds. Me? You damage my pride and you'll soon find out how bad my wrath can be.
Black once again glares at the camera.
Aleister Black: You see I don't want to wait till Armageddon for my vengeance. Brock the longer you wait to face your sins the worse it will be.
Black glares at the camera as the picture starts to fade to black...

A massive pop from the live crowd as we return from the commercial break and see local superstar and one half of the NXT UK TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS Mark Andrews make his way to the ring. Michael Cole reminds us we can see the match where South Wales Subculture won the titles on the WWE Network to 9.99. Mark Andrews steps into the ring really soaking in the reaction from the live crowd tonight.
*WEEKEND ROCKSTAR*
Whilst the pop isn't as big, Noam Dar still gets a decent reaction from the UK crowd who have fond memories of his time in Progress and ICW. Dar though has a microphone in hand as he looks to address the live crowd with the Cruiserweight title firmly planted around his waist. He takes a moment to look at the fans all around the arena before speaking.
Noam Dar: I have to say I'm glad I was able to come back here tonight as a champion.
Cheers from the crowd as Dar slowly walks down the ramp chewing his gum.
Noam Dar: Because it made me realize something. I'm so glad I got out of this awful country.
Loud boos from the crowd as Dar carries on.
Noam Dar: And don't worry I don't just mean Wales but the whole of the UK! I went to America and made something of myself!
Dar stops halfway down the ramp and lifts his Cruiserweight title into the air.
Noam Dar: I had to work my way up and down this country to get to where I belong. As a champion!
Dar passes the title to someone at ringside as he walks past the timekeeper's area, not even paying attention to Mark Andrews who is getting sick of Dar.
Noam Dar: And tonight, I will show that dafty Mustafa Ali why I'm still going to be champion after Armageddon.
Noam Dar turns around as Mark Andrews flies over the top rope and wipes out the cocky prick with a SUICIDE DIVE! Mark Andrews gets a loud pop for wiping out Noam Dar as he rises to his feet soaking in the reaction from the crowd. Andrews grabs Dar and rolls him into the ring as the referee calls for the bell getting this underway with a bang!
Match 6: Noam Dar vs Mark Andrews
Match summary: Mark Andrews starts the match off with a bang as he charges in and lays into Noam Dar, really showing off his high-flying offense in this match. However, Dar shows off his skills as he avoids a top rope splash from Andrews and takes out his leg! From there Dar goes after the leg viciously before locking in the CHAMPAGNE SUPER KNEEBAR! Andrews tries making it to the ropes but in the end, is forced to tap out!
Winner via submission: Noam Dar (5:10)
Noam Dar holds onto the kneebar for a few extra seconds getting loud boos from the crowd before finally letting go. Mark Andrews grabs his knee clearly in a lot of pain after being locked in the champagne super kneebar for a long time! Noam Dar meanwhile snatches his Cruiserweight title from the timekeeper's area as he lifts it into the air and shows it off to the fans. He shouts no one is going to stop him, once again taunting the crowd as we cut backstage.

We cut backstage as we see Kurt Angle and Chad Gable walk out of the gym. Chad Gable is fairly sweaty as he has clearly been working out and going through another training session with Kurt Angle.
Kurt Angle: That was a good work out man. You were tearing it up in there!
Chad nods as he looks at his mentor and lets out a weak smile.
Chad Gable: Thanks but I'm still disappointed it isn't me in that main event against Rey Mysterio.
Kurt places a hand on Chad's shoulder.
Kurt Angle: Listen you will have failures. But it's how you fight back from them that matters. Last week you went toe to toe with three of the best superstars in WWE. Two former multi-time world champions and someone who is a future world champion.
Chad nods as he lets out a slight smile as Kurt carries on psyching up Gable.
Kurt Angle: We will keep training and one day you will be a champion.
As Kurt Angle says that we see an angry Shinsuke Nakamura walk into the shot as he barges past Kurt Angle when going into the gym.
Kurt Angle: Hey watch where you're going!
Shinsuke turns around and just sneers at Kurt Angle. Shinsuke turns back around as Gable grabs his arm stopping the King of Strong style.
Chad Gable: I think you owe him an apology.
Shinsuke laughs and gets in Gable's face.
Shinsuke Nakamura: Me no speak English.
Shinsuke lets out a troll smirk as he walks into the gym. Gable looks to go after him but Angle stops his protege.
Kurt Angle: He's not worth it Chad.
Chad nods as they leave the area and head elsewhere.

We then cut to the commentary team who hype up the main event for tonight. We then get a spilt screen as we see Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles both walking to the ring. Rey is by himself whilst AJ Styles is followed by the Raw tag team champions The Club. Michael Cole tells us the main event is up next!

Seth Rollins makes his way out getting a loud reaction from the live crowd. It is still mostly cheers but there is a sizeable portion of the fanbase booing Seth Rollins tonight. He makes his way to the commentary desk as he takes a seat and puts on a headset joining Michael Cole and Big Show. Seth explains he is out here to see first hand who he will be defending his title against in Mexico at Armageddon.
*PHENOMENAL*
AJ Styles makes his way out getting a mixed reaction from the live crowd though it is slightly weighted towards boos. As mentioned before the commercial break AJ Styles is walking to the ring followed by The Good Brothers who lift their Raw Tag Team titles in the air. Seth Rollins doesn't get a chance to comment as AJ makes his way over to the commentary desk. AJ gets right in Seth's face as he shouts he knows Seth told the Street Profits to run out and help him win.
Seth fires back that they were only there due to AJ's boys getting involved. AJ however ignores this and tells Seth that Edge was right. AJ walks away looking to go to the ring as Seth looks to get up but Big Show stops Seth calming him down. AJ climbs into the ring shouting at the fans as Seth shakes his head and goes on the defensive as he repeatedly says he has changed.
*BOOYAKA 619*
Rey Mysterio makes his way out getting a loud pop from the live crowd. As he makes his way to the ring he makes sure to touch his mask with a few kids in the front row. Seth Rollins on commentary talks about what an honor it would be to go head to head with a legend like Rey Mysterio in Mexico and defend his Universal title there. Rey steps into the ring wary of The Good Brothers on the outside of the ring. Big Show mentions the lack of Humberto Carrillo due to the Ungovenables attack whilst Seth comments he wants to make sure there is a fair fight tonight. The referee then calls for the bell getting this match underway!
Main event: Number one contender's match for the Universal title: AJ Styles w/The Club vs Rey Mysterio
Match summary: The match starts off slowly as Rey and AJ feel each other out. AJ though shows his hand early as he looks to go after Rey's leg. Rey though being a veteran has it scouted and fights AJ off sending him towards the ropes. Rey takes control in the early stages and even sends AJ to the outside of the ring, frustrating the Phenomenal one. AJ on the outside takes a moment to talk with his boys before sliding back into the ring.
Both men battle in the ring and once again they are fairly evenly matched. Rey though gains the upper hands and looks to run off the ropes but Luke Gallows trips him up out of view of the ref getting boos from the crowd. Seth shakes his head on commentary and criticizes AJ for always needing help yet he claims he is phenomenal. AJ though uses this distraction to his advantage and starts to lay into Rey.
He starts going after the legs of Rey Mysterio as he looks to take away his pace and also targeting his surgically repaired knee. AJ even locks in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK but Rey refuses to give in, knowing if he wins he has the chance to fight for the Universal title in Mexico! Rey gets to the ropes forcing a break as AJ lets go on the count of 4. Luke Gallows though climbs onto the apron as he distracts the referee!
This allows AJ to use the rope to choke Rey! Seth once again calls out the actions of the Good Brothers on the outside and says this is exactly why he wants Rey at Armageddon. Rey though mounts a slight fight back and looks like he is going to take control of the match as he gets AJ onto the ropes and in position for the 619! Rey looks to run off the ropes as Luke Gallows looks to trip him up but Rey wipes him out with a SLINGSHOT SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK TO THE OUTSIDE!
Rey gets to his feet on the outside as Karl Anderson runs around the corner looking to take him out but Rey sends him into the barricade with a HURRICANRANA! Rey gets back to his feet as AJ flies over the ropes and hits Rey with a PHENOMENAL FOREARM TO THE OUTSIDE! AJ wipes out Rey getting loud boos from the crowd. He taps his head as he slides Rey back into the ring and makes the cover. 1 2 Rey kicks out!
AJ looks annoyed as he grabs the ankle of Rey and locks in the CALF CRUSHER! AJ wrenches the hold back as Seth looks annoyed at the cheap tricks. Big Show however tells Seth that he doesn't know any WWE superstar with more heart then Rey Mysterio. Rey refuses to tap as he starts to slowly make his way to the ropes as AJ gets annoyed. As Rey gets close to the ropes we see Karl Anderson makes his way over to the ropes ready to move them out of Rey's reach and this is one interference too far for Seth!
Seth gets off his seat on commentary and marches towards the ring. Rey meanwhile is clawing even closer to the ropes as Karl Anderson goes to pull the ropes down but Seth clocks him with the UNIVERSAL TITLE! Luke Gallows charges at Seth Rollins but gets met with a SUPERKICK! Seth quickly follows it up with a RIPCORD KNEE wiping out the other half of the tag team champions! AJ seeing this on outside lets go of the hold and shouts abuse at Seth! However, this gives Rey the chance to take advantage as he ROLLS UP AJ STYLES!

Seth Rollins slides into the ring holding his Universal title leading to an immediate stare down. Michael Cole and Big Show start hyping up the match for Armageddon as the pair lock eyes with both men smiling as they relish the challenge... AS THE GOOD BROTHERS ATTACK THEM FROM BEHIND!
Both men start laying into Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins really looks to put a beating on Rollins and Rey after what happened during the match and now their boy lost out on a title shot. AJ meanwhile has rolled out of the ring as he looks to recover from the Mexican destroyer. The Good Brothers lift Rey into the air and plant him with the MAGIC KILLER! The Good Brothers then lifts Seth into the air and they plant him with MAGIC KILLER AS WELL! Loud boos from the crowd as The Good Brothers stand tall over the wreckage until...
*MAKING A DIFFERENCE*
All 4 members of the Ungovenables make their way out getting a mixed and confused reaction from the live crowd! Cesaro and Ilja Dragunov charge down the ramp as the slide into the ring and attack The Good Brothers taking the Raw tag team champions out of the ring! Andrade slowly walks to the Money in the Bank briefcase in his hands as his plan becomes clear. Zelina makes her way to the timekeeper as Andrade slides into the ring!
Andrade sees Rey Mysterio rising to his feet and clocks him with the BRIEFCASE! Rey rolls out of the ring selling the pain as Andrade turns to the referee and passes him the money in the Bank briefcase as he makes it clear he is CASHING IN RIGHT NOW! Andrade sees Seth Rollins getting to his feet so hits him in the gut and connects with LA SOMBRA! On the outside, the timekeeper gets ready for the usual announcement but Zelina steals the microphone!
Zelina Vega: No no you don't get to announce it! Andrade Cien Almas is...
And just as she is about to finish her sentence AJ Styles flies off the apron and wipes out Andrade with a PHENOMENAL FOREARM! A massive mixed reaction with some happy AJ just saved Seth's title reign but also some annoyed they weren't going to see a cash-in tonight! Andrade rolls out of the ring as AJ shouts at Zelina telling her no one messes with The Club as Zelina looks furious by the timekeeper's area. Monday Raw comes to a close with AJ stood tall in the ring with Rey, Seth and Andrade laid out next to him whilst The Good Brothers and the other two Ungovenables fight on the outside.
