WWE Without a “Beast Incarnate”?
The now former WWE Universal Champion, that being the “Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. Has decided to take yet another extended departure from the company for the foreseeable future. All that has been confirmed by the company is that Lesnar is not being included with any future plans post-mania at this point in time.
Vince McMahon Takes a Hands-Off Approach
In a truly shocking revelation, it has been announced that going forward. Vincent Kennedy McMahon aka the Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment has decided to take a step back from the everyday running of the company. With both of his children that being Shane and Stephanie McMahon will be taking up the reigns. In a joint Chairman and Chairwoman position.
The Glamazon Fly’s Again
As seen at the WrestleMania 35 pay per view event a WWE Hall of Famer made her return to the ring. That being the “Glamazon” Beth Phoenix who reformed the fan favourite tag team aka the Divas of Doom with Natalya Neidhart. To take part in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship four-way match at the event. Despite coming up short in their attempt to claim the gold, it has been revealed that Phoenix will be around long term.
Saudi Deal Comes to a Sudden End
The most shocking piece of post-mania news coming to light is that a business relationship has come to an abrupt and sudden conclusion. World Wrestling Entertainment has bowed to increased levels of pressure from its other sponsors to bring it’s deal with the Saudi Arabia government. To a sudden and abrupt end due to the negative response the deal had been attracting.
A Trio of Deals Expire
A trio of contracts have reached their expiration dates and both the company and the superstars attached to the deals failed to come to a new agreement. First up is former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose, following that veteran superstar Goldust has also left the company. Third and final superstar who has departed the company is Lars Sullivan. While the departures of Ambrose and Goldust there is obvious regret from the company, while the case of Sullivan is a blessing come true. As it has been reported that Sullivan was not winning anyone over in the ring or backstage.
