Backstory

The month is April 2012. WWE was failing. Ratings and PPV buys were as low as ever and for the first ever time, WWE was under threat from TNA and ROH. Last nights Wrestlemania got less buys than any other WWE PPV. When times couldn't be worse, Vince McMahon was run over by a limosuine. He was in a coma and no-one knew what was going to happen to him. Shane McMahon took over the company and renamed it the WWA. He renamed most of the PPV's. He released a lot of superstars and some went to the now improved TNA. Shane hired Triple H and Stone Cold to become GM and some superstars contracts were nearly up. Shane convinced some former stars to return.

Daniel Bryan won his 1st WWE Title at last nights WM

Alberto Del Rio captured his 2nd World Heavyweight Title at Elimination Chamber 2012 and retained it at WM

Vickie Guerrero learned off Chavo Guerrero and Rey Mysterio and is now a Diva

The WWA Draft took place after WM

After the match with Jerry Lawler at last years WM Michael Cole became a full time superstar

Monday Night Raw: 2nd April 2012

The show starts with Shane McMahon in the ring who explains that his dads condition was critical and that he would be taking over. He announced the renaming of the company and spoke about TNA switching to Monday and said that WWA will be top of the pile once again. He was interrupted by Vickie Guerrero who demanded that she get a title shot. He said that she will face a new superstar tonight in a number one contenders match.

Ad break promoting official sponsors Walkers Crisps

Match 1: Ezekiel Jackson def Ted Di Biase. The match was dominated by the stronger Jackson, he looked like winning from the start and he ended the match by hitting The Book Of Eli and picking up the win via pinfall.

Plug for the hype of the new diva.

Match 2: Drew McIntyre w/ R Truth def Mason Ryan w/ Chavo Guerrero. The match was a close one and both superstars were evenally matched but in the end Drew McIntyre hit the Future Shock DDT and was about to win but Chavo ran in and hit Drew with a steel chair thus making Drew win by DQ. After the match R Truth ran in to save Drew but Chavo it him with the chair as well. Chavo and Mason Ryan then took turns blasting Truth and McIntyre with the chair before leaving the ring. Both McIntyre and Truth had to be helped out of the arena. Chavo points to Drew and motions for the Intercontinental Championship.

Match 3: Awesome Kong def Vickie Guerrero. Guerrero stood waiting for her mystery opponent and Awesome Kong came out. Guerrero was shocked and Kong came in and powerbombed her straight away. The match lasted about 10 seconds.

Divas Champion Natalya is shown in the back looking at the TV screen. She looks worried and Zack Ryder walks in. They discuss tactics for Natalya's future match with Awesome Kong.

Match 4: Evan Bourne def Alex Riley. Alex Riley had all the momentum for most of the match but Evan ended up the victor when Riley went for a diving clothesline but Bourne countered it with a drop kick. Riley landed perfectly for Bourne to climb to the top and hit the Shooting Star Press. Evan Bourne then got the pin.

Ad break promoting WWA Smackdown Vs RAW 2012

Match 5: Sheamus def Daniel Bryan (non-title.) A back and forth match up which had the crowd on their feet. Sheamus broke out of the LeBell lock and ended up hitting Bryan with a Brogue kick, picking up the win.

After the match, Sheamus demanded a WWE Title match at Vengeance. New GM Triple H came out and told Sheamus that he will be one of four wresters involved in a new match called The Inferno Elimination of Doom Match. He said that 4 superstars will be in the ring at the same time and when one gets set on fire, they are eliminated. Then last man standing wins the title. He said that the winners of the main event would be the other two participants.

Main Event: CM Punk & Chris Jericho def John Cena & John Morrison. The match was very good. At the start, Morrison & Cena kept Punk isolated in the corner but he ended up getting the tag to Jericho. Jericho built up momentum but Cena got tagged in and FU'd Jericho, who kicked out! Punk ended up getting tagged in and made Cena submit to the Anaconda Vice. Jericho offered to shake Punks hand but Punk hit him with the GTS. Bryan ran in and locked the LeBell Lock in on Punk but Sheamus ran in and hit a Brogue Kick on Bryan. The show finished with Sheamus standing over the other three competitors in the Inferno match.

Friday Night Smackdown 6th April 2012

The show starts with Stone Cold Steve Austin in the ring. He announced a Race To The Title 12 man tournament over the next two weeks to determine who will challenge Alberto Del Rio at Vengeance. He also announced a US Title number one contenders triple threat later.

Match 1: Alberto Del Rio def Mark Henry (non-title.) Del Rio was in control for most of the match-up and Henry showed little sign of winning. Del Rio eventually made Henry submit to his devestating Cross Armbraker.

Match 2: Kevin Nash def Tyson Kidd (RTTT Qualifying Match) A back and forth match with the younger Kidd using his speed to his advantage early on. Nash turned the tables and hit Tyson Kidd with a jacknife powerbomb and got the pin on Tyson Kidd.

Commercial Break

Match 3: Christian def Tyler Reks (RTTT Qualifying Match) This was a close encounter with near falls for both men. Christian ended the match by pinfall after hitting Tyler Reks with the Killswitch

The scene cuts to the parking lot where The Usos are seen walking to their car after learning they would not be competing tonight. Before they get to the car they both are hit by steel chairs from behind. Their titles are picked up and as the camera goes up Michael Cole and Jack Swagger are seen holding the titles.

Match 4: Kofi Kingston def Gregory Helms and Justin Gabriel in a triple threat match to become the number one contender for the US title. Kofi Kingston hit the Trouble In Paradise on Justin Gabriel after Gabriel hit the 450 splash on Helms. Kofi pinned Gabriel for the win.

Match 5: Rey Mysterio def Booker T (RTTT Qualifying Match) Booker started off well but Rey gained control and used his high flying offence to secure the win after a 619 followed up by the West Coast Pop and then pinned Booker.

Commercial Break

Match 6: Wade Barrett def JBL (RTTT Qualifying Match) An exiting back and forth contest which both men looking strong. JBL hit Barrett with the clothesline from hell but was distracted by Kane who came onto the stage. Barrett scored the pin via a roll up.

Plug for Vengeance

Main Event: Kurt Angle def Carlito, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes (RTTT Qualifying Match) The match was a very entertaining encounter and it produced lots of near falls for all four competitors. When Rhodes and Orton were fighting on the outside, Angle locked in the ankle lock on Carlito making him submit.
