Miroslav Barnyashev and CJ Perry more than likely have a much different marriage than Rusev and Lana do. And if they don't, well then hey, that's probably where the storyline came from in the first place, meaning they're probably not in the slightest uncomfortable because that's how their real lives are. By that logic, I can't believe DC made Jared Leto into such a psychopath, they're making a joke of abusive relationships and mental illnesses. Like, it's wrestling. It's fake. It's no different than a movie, and it tells a story. Whether it's a story a lot of people enjoy or not is totally subjective and people are obviously gonna have different tastes. But all the stuff people are saying about how it's messed up because they're married in real life I just don't get. It's not like WWE is forcing them into a room against their will to actually fuck each other.

That could potentially be where this story ends up going, I suppose, where Rusev ends up enjoying seeing Lana with Bobby. But as it stands right now, it's just someone being unfaithful in a relationship and the partner reacting in multiple different ways because his emotions are all over the place (which, speaking as someone who's been cheated on in the past, is pretty accurate when that happens)

Words have multiple meanings all the time, this shouldnt come as a surprise lol, but yeah, thats what the industry calls these types of angles, and why they call it that, yes.
I mean, i get where you're coming from, I just don't agree fully with the reasoning. Just because you and Soli presumably have a great marriage doesn't mean that's the case for everyone, yknow? Like, for a lot of people, this is a pretty easy story to relate to. Imagine being someone (a fan) who just went through a similar situation and their partner just cheated on them. For them in the emotional state they're in right now, Rusev is going to be their ultimate hero. And when he (most likely) finally gets his hands on Lashley, in a one on one setting, it's going to be an awesome moment. I don't see how it is shock value or in poor taste. If Lana shows up next week in bed with Lashley, and then it pans out to show that it's not just Lashley but rather Lashley, McIntyre, Hornswoggle, Zach Gowen, Jillian Hall's mole, Katie Vick, and Vince himself, and Lana turns out to just enjoy getting gangbanged by every freak besides her husband, then obviously I'll retract my statement. But for the time being, I don't see how it's anything out of the ordinary as far as soap operas go, and a lot of people are going to be able to relate to the story.
