Firefox is my main thing, then Chrome, then Safari, then Dial-up, THEN IE.But, if he has limited internet (so he says) then I somewhat agree with him

i do saddly belive me my dad hated it but he has no chice he live to far away from were the cable are the ownly way he can get a unlimited is if he paid $3,000 to get the cable in were he live he can't even get cable or verison fivealy (which he want as it cheater then DDTV). But he basicly paiding the same prices u would paid verison for a a unlimited internet for. but he can get it b/c of the dam cable being to far about from his house. so has to get limited internet 5g a month. IT FUCKIN SUCK! B/c if we go over i have paid the exte fees.

You can't get DSL? DSL internet is through the telephone wire. Would most likely not be as fast as fiber cable but it would be a steady internet connection that wouldn't break if you got a call.

we have that for the old pc we have it fuckin suck like shit. we coul get online at all it would 30 min. to get to the next web page. my dad was not getting shit.

Then you probably got a shit provider/bought a shit service. I run on DSL in my current apartment since my landlord hasn't drawn fiber cable to the house (the house was built in the 70's) and it is working just fine. Haven't had a single issue. But I guess quality can differ depending on country. From what I stand quality differs a lot depending on where in America you are but since you are reasonably near both Buffalo and NYC you should be able to get stable and reasonably fast DSL internet if you went with the right provider (just to be clear, DSL is not dial up).

I never said that you lived in NYC. I said you live relatively close to NYC. 8 hours isn't that far, and you live even closer to Buffalo. So it honest to god shouldn't be that hard getting a decent internet connection via DSL even when out "in the country".
